I am so thankful...

One of my dear cutter friends, Sally (aka Big Red) sent me this video and I have to admit it made me cry! Ok Ok - maybe I am little hormonal - and I know I am overstressed at the moment... but the truth of the matter is I am so very thankful that there are people out there who realize what a sacrifice our soldiers make on a daily basis.

Hubby had to go to Ft. McCoy a few weekends ago - and since it was a whirl wind trip and a government arranged trip on top of that he wore his ACU's. I have to tell you that on three out of four of his flights - the put him up in First Class. People where stopping him and shaking his hand and saying "Thank you!". Hubby was very embarrassed and didn't like the attention at all - but it made me proud. Proud to know that there are people out there who appreciate what our soldiers and their families go through so that the rest of us can live free lives - lives with out war on our streets - lives with each other.....

Hope you enjoy the video and it touches you the way it touched me!!! And after you watch it - make sure you say thank you to a service member or their family!

Until Next Time!

Hi Lori,
The video you posted on your blog really touched me. I don't know any military and I'm Canadian so our troops are not in Iraq. Even though I think the Iraq should not have happened, I also think it's essential that everyone support our troops when they go to war and return. Political decisions and/or opinions should not interfere with the support a country should give to those whose serve their country. Please know that even 'liberals' like me are behind the men and women that serve our countries.

Thanks Isabele!! That means more than you can possible know!

No one likes war - but sometimes we just have to do what we have to do... and thankfully there are people out there willing to put themselves in harms way so that our country and its people are safe!!
