Grrrr!!!

I swear if it isn't one thing then it is another!! Honestly - it really is!!! Today my laptop screen decided to die. It just - quit! So now it is in the shop and I am borrowing hubby's computer to type up this message!!! It seems that the screen and the backlight have shorted out - grrr!!! And then to make matters worse - you have to decide - do I buy a new computer or get this one fixed!!!

I mean to get it fixed is almost half the price of a new one... but I LOVE my computer!! Hmmm that pink one they have a Dell is pretty cute though!!! I have Windows XP - and you can only get Vista - I heard Vista bites the big one....oh what to do what to do!!!!

Finally I decided - I am getting my try and true fixed!!!! (But I may need to look at getting a new computer soon - as business gets busier and busier - I can not be with out one!!!)

So - if I am not around for a while - or it takes me a little to answer your emails - well - you know why... They hope to get my computer fixed by Monday or Tue - but I am heading on vacation Monday.... I am PRAYING that it gets fixed before then!!

Then if that wasn't bad enough - I lost a key on my cell phone!! I guess it just popped off! Yep it is just "GONE". Now I can't hang up - I have to flip it close!!!!

If it isn't one thing I swear it is another!!!!

Until Next Time (whenever that may be)!

Before you buy a Vista you may want to read the Sunday, July 20, 2008 entry of the following Blogsite:

Lori,

Make sure that whatever you buy it will be compatible with the various programs you use for your cutter files and machines.

I too have XP and love it. DH (my IT guru) tests a lot of programs and Vista is still not good. I told him about reading on various posts of the problems people are having with Vista and he said that made sense. I asked him what was I going to do and his response was stop cutting (AS IF!!). Actually, he said it may come to buying an older computer (ebay or get one from someone upgrading that has XP) and designating it solely for crafting. The problem with Microsoft is that they want to hold the monopoly on what you load and make it difficult to use anyone else's programs.

Good luck and it sounds like you are having a " (alexander and the)Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day!" (one of my kid's favorite books growing up!)
