A little Something for you!

Wow!!! Where does the time go!!!! I have been up since 7:30 AM working on a HUGE project that I will be announcing soon and getting all my new files cut and converted!!! Next thing I know I look at the clock and it is 12:30 PM and I haven't even blogged today - much less posted my sweet treat for all my cutter friends!!!

So without further ado... Here is a Terms Restricted file I am offering for you - free today here on my blog!!! Now it is going to only be up for a few hours - and then it will be available for purchase in the store! Even though it is free on my blog - it is still governed by my TOU. (If you do not have a copy of my TOU - please download it from the right hand side of my blog!!)

I think this turned out REALLY cute! It would make a cute title for a scrapbooking page or a really cute card for the person that you love!

Sorry file is no longer available!

Ok - well I am heading back to the grind stone... man I still have 24 new files to cut and I still have the HUGE PROJECT I am working on... more about that next week - but I have to tell you it is AWESOME and I am SUPER SUPER EXCITED about it!!!

Hope you have a GREAT weekend!

Until Next Time!

Quick tip for today...

Well I am determined to get all my files test cut today - even if I have to stay up til midnight!!!! I think I have 18 files that just need to be cut and then converted and put up in the store.... so since hubby is off in the boat playing with the other Army boys... I am going to work and work hard! (Hmm - that doesn't seem tooo fair does it - hubby on the boat/me working!!! Bahahaha)

Having said that - here is a quick tip for you.....

When storing ribbon in my scrapbooking room, I have always used mason jars to store my ribbon in. I take it off the spools and roll it up on itself and then place in my jars. My jars are color coordinated. Black, White, Red, Green, etc.....

Well the other day my friend Dana sent me her bargain idea for storing ribbon in her scrapbooking room!!! I loved it sooo much and it was such a cheap idea - I thought I would pass it on to you!!!

While Dana was shopping at Wally World (aka Walmart) she found these awesome stackable bins for 97 CENTS!!!! She left her ribbon on the spools and just threaded the ribbon through the holes!!!

How AWESOME is that?!?! Thanks DANA!!! You are girl after my own heart!! Orginazation and cheap items!! Just doesn't get any better than that! Whoo Hooo!!!!

(For the record - Dana is also one of the most talented commercial photographers I have seen in quite a while so make sure you check out her website!!!)

Hope you can use today's helpful tip. If you have a help tip to share - leave it in the comment section - I would love to hear it!!!!

For all my cutter friends.... No "TR" file to share today - hmmm that must mean tomorrow will be the day!!! (whoo hooo - what a great way to start the weekend!!)

Until Next Time!

Eye Candy?

I only have a few short moments to post today - sorry I am soooo late getting to it! I had a ton of errands to run this AM and now I have to get ready to go to a funeral visitation. (I so dread these...) Anyway on this kind of sad day, I thought I would share some awesome eye candy with you!!!

First up - I had lunch with my dear dear friend Susan and she presented me with this AMAZING hand made gift!!! (I have to admit I saw it on her blog last week and thought it was the coolest thing ever! Little did I know it was for little ole ME!!!!! And as a matter of fact - I high jacked this photo from her blog!!! Bahahaha)

For those of you who do not know me very well - I am a TOTAL list person. I make list for everything - be it a "pro/con" list, "I got to do" list, "I got to get list", to "I am angry because" list!!! So this gift is PERFECT in every way for me!!! Thank you soooo very much again Susan - I totally love this clipboard! I'm so blessed to have you as a friend!

Ok - one more piece of eye candy before I go:

Debbie shared this AMAZING layout with me yesterday!! I tell you - she does some wonderful work!

In case you don't remember - I shared a "Got Gas" layout that Debbie made last month! This layout was made using my "Ducks And Buck" cutter file that is available at Paperthreads!

Thank you soooo much Debbie for sharing yet another great layout with me!!! You totally ROCK!!!

I got to run - but don't forget for all my cutter file friends - only a few more days in this week and I promised you something good!!! Make sure you come back cause you are not going to want to miss it!!!

Until Next Time!

Where does the time go!?!?!

Just a quick stop in today... its already 2 PM and I feel like I have gotten nothing done! (Well that isn't totally true - I did design two more files, helped a new person decided what cutter she wanted and all the stuff to go with it, ate lunch, answered email and hmmmm I think that's it!!!)

I have to go jump in the shower in a moment as I have to leave the house soon - I have a meeting tonight on Tybee Island. I decided that I will go over and see what the "Turtle Team" is all about!

Here on the East Coast (for those who don't live here) we have these huge loggerhead turtles who come and lay their eggs on our beaches. Well the turtles are endangered so they put together these teams to go walk the beach ever morning and look to see if any turtles made a nest and laid their eggs! If the nest is in a "safe" place they leave it and just mark it so no one will disturb it. If the nest isn't in a "safe" place then they will move the eggs to a place where they are safe!

I read a really good book several years ago by Mary Alice Monroe called "The Beach House" and at the start of each chapter was some information about the Loggerhead Turtles and their spawning cycle. All the women in the book were members of a turtle team called the "Turtle Ladies". I have to say it really peeked my interest and I started reading more and more about these awesome creatures.
(this is a really great book by the way - I highly recommend it if you like fiction!)

So this summer I decided to call up the local turtle team and see what it is all about... the first meeting is tonight! I mean hey, if I can help save a few turtles and lose some weight walking on the beach - what so bad about that (well besides the 6 AM timeline!!!)?!?!?!

I'll let you know goes tomorrow!

Until Next Time!

Monday Monday...

Here we are another glorious Monday! Ok - the truth - I do not like Mondays! As I am sure most people don't! At least I don't have to go to a tradition 9 to 5 job (well at least not yet!). But Monday is the day I clean house and get all caught up on my laundry! BLAH!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know that mine was EXTREMELY busy!!! Here in GA the first day of Turkey Season was on Saturday! So on Friday hubby and I got all our stuff ready! Then we got up at 3 AM on Saturday Morning! Yes- you read that right 3 AM!!! We headed to the woods hoping to call in some turkeys! (Well I was hoping we would call in turkeys - hubby was hoping to get a pig!!!)

We drove to our hunting spot that hubby has spent the last few weeks scouting out and we got our stands hung and we both got up in them. Believe it or not we were in the same tree just different stands!!!

I have to say I was quite proud of hubby. While we didn't see any pigs (darn it - not!) hubby was able to call two BIG turkeys right to our hunting area. Of course now I have to tell you they were turkey's of the human kind!! Bahahaha Yep that's right - hubby called in two other hunters with his turkey call!! I'm not sure if that is because he is soooo good - or they were so excited that it was the first day of the season and they though they heard turkeys! LOL (I prefer to think it is because hubby was so good with his call!!! Bahaha)

On Sunday we got up and went to the sunrise Easter service at our church and then headed over to visit my parents. It is always great to see them and yesterday was no different.

So I thought I would share a few photos with you from our first hunting trip together before I close! While we didn't get anything - it was great to spend some good quality time together!

Here is what I saw when I looked DOWN from my stand:

Here is what I saw if I looked UP from my stand:

And here is a self photo of hubby and I as we were packing up and heading out!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Oh and for all you personal cutter owners out there - make sure you tune into my blog this week as I will be offering a Terms Restricted Download for you sometime soon! It will only be up for a limited time and I am sure you will not want to miss it!!

Until Next Time!
