Hump Day!

Happy Hump Day! Not a lot to report here - well that isn't really true... there is a LOT going on - just not very much that I can tell you about!! Bahahaha!!! Don't you just love the holiday season! All the secrets - surprises... oh what fun!!!

Here's a question for all you readers out there..... What are you reading??? One of the things I find myself doing when hubby heads out on deployments is reading! I mean I read on an average of one to two books a week normally - but when hubby is gone that goes up to about four to five books a week.... So - do you have any suggestions for me???

I like to read pretty much anything - my two favorite authors are Jodi Picoult and Charles Martin. Oh and speaking of Charles Martin - if you have never read any of his books you SHOULD - but that wasn't where I was going.......

Do you remember a few weeks back I told you I was going on a secret mission??!?!? Well I went and MET Charles Martin!

And as a matter of fact I got him to autograph his newest book for my Mother in law for her Birthday!!!!!

Very exciting - he IS just a cute in person as he is on the back of his books! Very well spoken, entertaining and just a pleasure to meet all in all!!! As a matter of fact - even my hubby (who has never read a single one of his books) enjoyed listen to him speak and speaking to him in person after the presentation!

So if you get a chance - check out his books! And please let me know - "What are you reading that should be on my list?" (Just leave me a comment in the comment section!)

Until Next Time!

Date night and a ????

With the upcoming deployment Hubby and I have been trying to make sure that we take some time out for us..... so last night was a "date night". We went out for dinner and then went to a movie! Now those of you who follow my blog know I love going to the movies - but man oh man - normally I go during the day - the prices at night are INSANE!!!!!

Anyway - we went to see Appaloosa.

Now personally I like Renee Zellweger - as a matter of fact one of my favorite movies "Cold Mountain" has her in the cast. But I have to tell you I was majorly disappointed in this movie! I love a good Western every now and again - and the last one I saw (The 3:10 to Yuma) was AWESOME.... but that wasn't the case with Appaloosa.

So my recommendation is to wait until this one come out on DVD...

Now for my question... I am thinking about making some of my Christmas present this year... and one of the things that intrigues me is this printable fabric. Has anyone ever used this before? And if so what I really want to know is can it withstand washing in a regular washing machine? Also - there seems to be several different brands out there.... is there on in particular that you have used with great success???

I would love to know...

Well I think that is it.... so

Until Next Time!

Brrrrr.....

Who turned on the AC and left it on outside?!?!?! Baby its cold out there!!!

After having wonderful warm weather last week while my in laws where here, it has decided to turn coldddddd down here in the south! And I do mean cold - they are saying it is going to get down to 32 degrees tonight!! Brrrrr!!!!! It seems way way way to early in the year to have to cover my plants!!!

And speaking about way to early.... do you realize there are only 58 days until CHRISTMAS!!!! Holly cow.... and I haven't even gotten started on most my gifts - and speaking of gifts - are you looking for that perfect one of a kid Christmas gift this year?? If so make sure you check out my Custom Made Photo Stars! If you read the reviews at the bottom of the page you will see people LOVE them!!! And if you are planning on ordering - get your orders in soon!!!

Anywho.... Kayaking was hmmm - fun?!?! The weather was gloomy and chilly - but it was nice to spend time with the hubby - but let me tell you that paddling thing - man it is HARD work!!! I think I prefer my jet ski over a kayak any day!! Bahahaha!!!

The Paperthreads forum is back up!!!! So feel free to head over that way! The store was not effected in anyway shape or fashion - so please know all your personal information was kept safe!!!

I think that is about it for today!
