Finally!!!

Whooo Hoooo!!! Blogger photo uploader thingie is working again!!! So now I can finally start sharing with you all my Christmas goodies I made for gifts this past year!!!

Here is a look at my dining room table after I completed a good number of things!!! (Don't forget you can click on each photo to see a bigger one!!!)

Yep - I was a busy little girl!! And this isn't even all the gifts I made this year!!!!

First up I made four fleece blankets! Of course I didn't take photos of those!!! Duh!!! But then again - there isn't a whole whole lot to those. I just fringed the bottoms and sewed the sides!

Then we have Stars! OF COURSE... big stars, small stars and more stars!!! These were actually gifts for people who didn't get stars last year!!! (Don't forget that I custom make these photo stars and they are available for sale at the Beloved Keepsakes Boutique.)

In addition to Photo Stars - I made SIX Altered Recipe Tins. Each Tin was different but they all had metal keys and a tag that said "Secret Family Recipes" on the front of them.

Each of these tins had dividers in them which I also altered!! (Pictured below is the tin that I made myself!!! Yeah - I decided early on if I am making all my close family and friends a tin - I am making myself one as well!!! LOL)

I had been planning on making these for a while - so actually emailed the five other people that I was planning to make a tin for and asked them for five of their favorite family recipes. I then took each set of five for a total of 35 recipes and I printed them out on recipe cards which I then files in each tin. That way each person started off with 35 recipes. Their five favorites and then 30 recipes that they had never hard or tried!!!

The really cool thing about this is that we had several different cultures and nationalities represented in the recipes!! Pretty cool!!

One of the things I made for my mother was this really cool 5" tealight holder! I altered the star (which is only 4" big) just like I do for the custom photo stars I make. I think it turned out adoreable!! So much so... I plan to offer these at the Boutique as well! (For those inquiring minds - they are 5" wide by 5" tall.)

Whew... I don't want to overwhelm you so I have some more items I will share with you tomorrow! Make sure to come on back! Thanks for looking!!

Until Next Time!

Cya~

I have been waiting (somewhat patiently!) for the "Christmas present show" to begin! :o) What delightful, creative gifts! Thanks so much for sharing. Can't wait to see the next group!

PS - Please include a picture(s) of the quilt you made for your husband. What did he think of it?
