Moving right along...

So here we go - some more of the awesome gifts (well if I do say so myself) that I made for my dear family and friends!!!!

First up is a glass tile that I made for my hubby using one of our wedding photos! I thought this turned out really well! Now if he just had a desk oversea's to put it on.... hmmmm!

Then I also made another one of these for my dear friend Shirley! Now Shirley is not into the whole "gift" thing.... so I actually had to STEAL this photo of her and her hubby from her blog!! (Yes I am sneaky and will go to no ends to make a gift for someone I think is special!!! Bahahaha!!)

The photo isn't that good - but it turned out really well I thought!! (OH and speaking of gifts.. SHIRLEY I love love love love my e-light!!! I have been able to read in places I never have been able to read before!! You are the BEST!!!)

In addition to the glass tiles I also make two marble tiles that measured 4" x 4" - one was for my fearless Paperthreads leader Michelle - and the other was for my awesome Design Team Member Lynn! (This turned out uber cute!!)

In addition to the glass tiles and the marble tiles - I also made EIGHT Fresco Tiles.... Here is a close up of the one I made myself.....

And here is a photo of all the other ones that I made!!!

These tiles were soooo fun to make!!!! They really were not hard either... each one of them was a kit from Tilano. I am actually carrying the "Fresco Tile Kit" at the Beloved Keepsakes Boutique. Each kit has all the supplies to make TWO Fresco Tiles..... all you have to do is design the photo layout and then copy them on a LASER copy machine (I went to my local Kinko's to do this)!

You start out with a 8" x 8" block of wood that you apply a crackle goop to. Then you apply the Fresco mud. Let that dry. Apply an antiquing ink. Then a transfer medium, then you transfer. Peel off the paper - let it dry and then apply the sealer! Easy Peasy!!!

Here is a quick how to video.....

As I stated before - if you are interested in making your own Fresco Tile.. I have three brand new kits available HERE. (They are actually priced cheaper than anywhere else on the net!!)
In addition to all the tiles... I made this really cute variation of a photo star for my other design team memeber, my personal ad maker, description writer and doer of all things I don't seem to have time to do - Bec! LOL

With her star we used "sepia" tone photos and she wanted a green color theme... I was a little hesitant to use them - but dang if it didn't come out cute cute cute!!!

I don't know if you remember but I made this cute cute "Twilight" bookmark for my Step Daughter..... you can see it HERE...

And the last thing for today - was I made this "double white ribbon photo pin" for a close family friend who lost her mother and her oldest son with in a week of each other....

(I sell the single white ribbon photo pins - along with pink ribbon and yellow ribbon photos pins on my website HERE if you are interested!)

Ok - that's it for today... make sure you check back tomorrow for the BIGGEST and HARDEST gift I created!! It was for my hubby and it turned out WAY WAY WAY cool!!! (Yes Gloria - it is what you think it is!! Bahahaha)

Until Next Time!

Cya~
