Not a lot....

To report today... I am still working away on new files... I think I have about 15 new one's right now that I need to test cut, convert and get up in the store!!! I have also been working on some star orders that have came in.... and really that is about it!!!

I have to say my biggest battle right now is my weight!!! I am over the "NASTY" number yet once again!!! It is sooo frustrating... I have been keeping a food journal this past week - making sure I don't eat more than 1100 calories a day... I have walked on my treadmill for at least 30 min every day - and I have lost - ZERO pounds!!!! Grrrrr.........

So I have decided to visit my Dr and see what she has too say!!! I know I am a stress eater and with hubby getting ready to deploy - I eat or WANT to eat EVERYTHING in front of me, behind me, beside me... well you get the picture!!!

My goal is to lose 50 lbs! (I REALLY want to lose 70 lbs) but I would be VERY happy with 50 lbs... that is how much I weighted when Andrew and I got married!!!

One of the things I have decided was to give myself a HUGE reward... if I can lose the 50lbs in the next 15 months while hubby is gone.... when he gets back I want to go to "Kite Surfing" school in the Dominican Republic!!! Sounds like a plan to me....

So I think maybe I will start posting on my blog - just once a week where I am and and how it is going...... So I will start with today..... (Man this is taking some mega courage on my behalf!!)

So - Today is Wednesday January 21st and my weight this morning is 210.5 lbs... this leaves me with 50.5 lbs to lose to reach my goal of 160 lb!

There you have it.... anyone else want to jump on the band wagon and make today the first day that you hold yourself accountable??? If so leave a comment!!!

Until Next Time!

Cya~

Oh girl, I've already been on the accountable wagon for a while. HOwever, I took a little sidetrip off of it for the holidays and gained 5 pounds back. Sure it doesn't seem like lot, but everything's relative right? Good luck, and I'll be watching...hee hee heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Lori, I will jump on the bandwagon with you, if I could only blog at work I would post my information there. I would like to lose 30 lbs, to where I was when I started school.

Hi Lori...I'll jump on too! I don't have a lot to loose, about 15-20 lbs more should do it. But having support is a helpful thing! Since Nov. I've lost about 10 lbs.

Hello.. you should be doing at least 1200 cals a day. Your body is in starvation mode.. Plus you are excerising.... Don't be so hard on yourself. I lost 70 pounds whenever I wanted something to eat.. I put a fireball in my mouth... Took so long to eat that I lost my craving for other things... I know you can do it. Also even though you drink diet soda you need to do water.. tooo.... I will look forward to watching your sucess.Nina

I'm on the bandwagon too. I started a diet program in Sept and lost 23 lbs by Christmas. Then I went off the diet during the holidays {can you say cheesecake, cookies, canolies OH MY}
until last week> I went back to the doctor and was surprised to find out I only gained .4 lbs back.

I'm not counting calories but stopped eating anything white... no potatoes, rice, bread, pasta... you get the picture.

Good luck!

Hi Lori,

I'm with you on this too, guess, I'll add a note to my blog too.

I started last year a little shy of your starting point. I'm down about 35-40 lbs now with a whole lot more to go. I'm short, really short lol. Holidays, they get me every time. I was a dress size 20 and now mostly wear 14's.

My goal is to be in a 9-10 but I'll be happy with a 12.

Off I go, cinnamon things seem to curve my cravings.

I'll jump on the band wagon with you. I weigh 210 and am only 5'3" tall. I would love to weigh at least 135 again. Good luck.

It's wonderful you have so much support. I have no doubt that the stress you've been under has been difficult and now as your routine will change you can dedicate more TLC to yourself. Good luck, we'll be here for you.

Hang in there Lori! I started a diet 2 1/2 weeks ago and did exactly as you, cut the calories back to 1200, kept a food journal, and exercised 30 min per day. The first week I lost a whopping 0.6 lb. But someone told me that it takes 2 weeks to see the full effects of the changes you've made. She was right...week 2 I lost 3.4 lbs. You will see results, so don't get discouraged. You can do it!
