such a dunce....

So believe it or not - I just realized that I did weight in Wed on Thursday- NOT WEDNESDAY!!! Duh!!!! Ok - what can I say - I am such a dunce!!! Between hubby coming home, and being sick (which he is doing much much better for all of those who have asked - and thanks for asking).... my days have just mushed together- hey what can I say!!!

I'm not getting much work done - I have to admit to that.... sorry to say - but I do promise to still have your freebie cutter files next week!!!

I was really bad yesterday on my eating!!! Grrrr!!! Between going out to lunch at the Koren restaurant - and then steaks and potatoes along with rolls for dinner!!! Man -its hard!!! But I am trying and I am conscious of the food I am eating - so that is good!! And the biggest thing is I have turned down sweet tea every time!!!(That is my BIGGEST weakness - Man oh man... I could drink a gallon of it all on my own - but I tell you as soon as I start drinking it the pounds just LEAP back on!!!!)

Tonight we are having dinner with friends at one of our favorite Thia restaurants!! Oh man- the spring rolls there are soooo freaking awesome it would make ya want to slap ya grandmamie! Hmmm - maybe I could skip the "actual" dinner and just get two orders of spring rolls?!?!? That's a though!!!!

Alright then - Well it is FRIDAY!!!!! (At least I do know that!!) So I hope you all have a WONDERFUL SAFE weekend - and I will catch ya next week!!

Weight in Wed....

You didn't think I would miss weight in day now did ya?!?!?! I only have a moment - so here are the facts.....

I weighed in today at (MEGA DRUM ROLL PLEASE) 197.0 lbs!!! WHOOO HOOOO!!! Doing the happy dance here, doing the happy dance here!! That means that I am FINALLY under the nasty number!!!

So that means since I weighted in last Wed - I have lost 4 lbs!!!! Bringing my total lost to 16.8 lbs!!!!! Meaning I have 49 lbs to go to reach my target of 148 lbs!!!!

Now - I just have to keep telling myself to be good, be good, be good while hubby is home!!! But I am happy to report that while he was working on his computer yesterday I did go ride my bike for 3 miles!!!!

Sick, Sick, Sick...

Well I am very very very happy to report that hubby FINALLY made it home safe and..... wellllll I guess I can't say sound... he is very sick! For the last few days at Ft Polk, LA he was sounding like he was getting a cold. Between the weather changes there and working 20 to 22 hours a day - I totally wasn't surprised.

He made it to the Atlanta airport on Monday night and by the time he got back to the unit and to the Jeep it was about 10:30 PM. He called and said he was so exhausted that there was no way he could make the six hour drive home. So we agreed that it would be best for him to just stay in a hotel and get up the next morning and drive home.

He told me he thought he would be on the road by 7 AM - no later than 8 AM. Well he finally called at 10 AM saying he was driving my way - but that he didn't feel well at all and that he had been coughing up a little blood! So I quickly decided that he would be taking a trip to the ER at Ft Stewart (our home base) before coming home! He actually agreed so I know he was NOT feeling well.

Almost 10 hours later, after locking his keys in his car and having to wait for roadside assistance, after about a four hour ER trip, and over six hours worth of driving - he finally made it home where I fed him homemade chicken noddle soup! (That fixes everything RIGHT?!?! LOL)

The ER said he has bronchitis and they gave him a Z-pack and told him to rest and get plenty of fluids. Last night was a rough, rough night.... for both of us!!!! But he is home - and safe. Not the way I planned to spend the last few days with my hubby! But I am trying to remember my new mantra (and motto) for life this year - "It is what it is!"

So the hard thing for me is going to be watching what I eat and sticking to my diet for the next week! I sneaked on the scale today (even though it isn't "weigh in day") and I am very very very excited to say I am under the NASTY NUMBER!!! Whooooo Hooooo.... but I guess you will have to come back tomorrow to see how far under I am!!!

Thank you all for the awesome comments on the free file yesterday!! It really does make me feel appreciated and lets me know if you like what I am currently designing! Also - thank you sooo much for the few of you that sent it projects to share!!! As a designer - there is no greater joy than seeing your designs on other people's layouts and projects!! SO THANK YOU!!!!! I will try to share some of those soon!

Meanwhile- I might be hit or miss for the next few days - just know I am taking care of a grumpy sick hubby! But I will stop in when I can!!!

FREEBIE DAY......

Oh yeah - it is FREEBIE Day here at Beloved Keepsakes!!!! I have actually done really well the past few weeks..... I put 30 new files in the store back on 12th and I am about ready to put up about 26 more!!!!!

I guess there are some good things that come from sleepless nights after all!!! Well beside fatigue and exhaustion!!! Bahahaha!!!!

WAAAAAA!!!!

Sorry I am soooo late posting today!! I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off!!!! I had a hair appointment this morning at 10 AM - and then I spent TWO hours fighting with the lady at DEERS about our orders.... (DEERS are the people who control all the benefits for the military - and I think they were put on this earth to drive military wives BATTY!!) And I STILL didn't get it resolved!!! But that is a battle that will have to wait another day to be fought!!! (Only because if I had stayed there another moment I was going to have to jack someone up!!!!! Have you heard that statement - My husband is Deployed - I am not responsible for my actions!!!!) Bahahaha!!!

But best of all.... HUBBY IS HEADING HOME!!! WHOOO HOOO!!!! So I am rushing around like a mad woman trying to get this mess of a house cleaned up!!! (Yeah - to be such a neat freak most of the time - I have been a TOTAL slob since he left a month ago!!!)
