FREEBIE FRIDAY!!!

You know the other week I went for a "spa day" with my BFF and that experience lead me to a new "Spa and Pamper Me" collection of files (look for them to be coming soon!!!)..... So for today's FREEBIE, I have decided to share one of those new designs with you!!!

Don't we all deserve some pampering??? Bahahaha!

In addition to to the FREEBIE Friday file - I have decided to host a "refer me to your friends" contest as well! In an effort to get my name and my free designs out to a wider audience (especially the SVG people since I am now offering my files in the SVG format) - I want YOU to refer me to your cutter friends! And for doing so - you will be entered into a drawing for SEVEN of my original designs for FREE!!!! Yep - for FREE!!!!

So this is how it's going to work -

STEP ONE - if you LOVE my designs and you LOVE my FREEBIE Friday's go to your FAVORITE forum or blog (any of them EXCEPT PAPERTHREADS!!!) and post a thread telling all your friends that they can get today's FREEBIE file here and how much you like my designs!!!

R&R Prep Kit...

So I have to tell you I am sooo soo sooo super excited!! I am less than 25 days away from R&R with my hubby!! Whoooo Hoooo!!! (Well provided that all the "t's" get crosses and the "i's" get dotted, and whom ever is holding their breath just right!! Bahahaha!!! No seriously in the Army anything can change, I am just praying this isn't one of them!!!)

So in anticipation of R&R, I sent my hubby a R&R Prep Kit! To which I thought turned out really cute and thus I thought I would share!

Now keep in mind that when my hubby arrives in the states it will have been almost 6 months since I have seen him!!! So I put together this kit:

Here is the inside message that I taped to the lid -

I placed pretty much travel sized personal hygiene stuff in the kit but on each item is a note! For example on the q-tips I wrote "These are to help you clean your ears out so you can hear the six months worth of stuff I need to tell you!" On the razors I said "If you want to be kissing on me you better get rid of the stubble!"

I thought it turned out cute and it will be helpful for him to have the travel sized items instead of having to try and bring all the full sized stuff home!

If it's not one thing...

Then it is another - I went to Wynn Army Hospital again yesterday - this time the Dr says I have acute tendinitis in my Achilles tendon. He gave me meloxicam … he also ran a couple of blood test – one of the for gout and then they did an x-ray as well……

He said if any of those come back with a problem he would call me – meanwhile the Dr said no more treadmill, or water aerobics (except upper body) for the next week OR two - I STILL have SEVEN pounds to go to get where I wanted to be when Andrew come home!!! Doesn't look like it will happen now - I am soo bummed!!!

Other than that I am working away on some new files! That is between resting my Achilles tendon of course!! (Oh and trying to find a bubble I can live in for the next month so nothing else happens before hubby comes home on his R&R!!!)

I didn't get a chance to get the photo of my R&R Prep Kit downloaded - so I will have to share that tomorrow!!!

A huge thanks - and a story about my MORTAL ENIEMY!

First of all - thank you all that went shopping this weekend at my 30% off sale! I greatly appreciate your support!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did - well I did until I had a run in with my MORTAL ENEMY!!!

See it all started like this.... We have been having some heck of some storms lately so I went outside and picked up some sticks and branches that had blown down. I went to throw them in the area behind our house – and then next thing I know I am attacked by my mortal enemy...

The Red Caroline Paper Wasp who stung me not ONCE but TWICE between my eyes on my forehead!!!! I kid you not!!! (They are nasty, aggressive insects!!!)

I thought I was going to die!! Thank Gosh for my brave next door neighbor who came and killed the mortal enemy!!! But only after it gave him a good run around the back yard!!!

Thank goodness for Benadryl and great next door neighbors – the nausea has passed. The effect area swelled up to the side of a house, it stung like no ones business and all in all it hurt like hell!!

Honestly I couldn't come up with this crap if I tried - here's a photo as proof!!!

And like I said - not once but TWICE that stupid thing stung me!!! Today the swelling has gone down some but it still hurts!!! Sheesh!! And if that isn't bad enough - I actually stepped on one last week and it stung me in the bottom of my foot!!!


I swear if it isn’t one thing it is another!!

Ok - I have a ton of things to get done - and yet another DR's appointment so I need to run! But tomorrow I plan to share a really cute project I put together for hubby! So make sure you come back then!
