Food?!?!

Let's talk one of my Favoriteeeeeee subjects.... FOOD!!!!

Seems like I have been kind of in a rut as of late for what to cook for dinner!!! I mean a year ago I didn't have these issues as well, hubby wasn't here so I didn't really ever cook!

I've been trying to come up with a few new idea's. He is a meat and veggie person, prefers not to have any starches (I KNOW - crazy!!!) and wants dinner to be as healthy as possible (I know, no fun in that either, sheesh)... thus I came up with something kind of yummy...

I pulled out my wok and make a beef stir fry!!! YUM!!!

There are some snow peas, sugar pea's, bean sprouts (oh I love love love me some bean sprouts!!! LOL), bell peppers, onions, brocoli, and some green squash. (You can click on the photo to get a bigger image, go ahead, seriously - unless you are my BFF who HATES veggies of any kind - you will see it even LOOKS yummy!!!) Bahahaha!
This was a huge huge hit last week, so much so I am making it again for dinner tonight!!! And I have to say I am kind of excited about it... now the prep time is kind long as you have to cut everything up - but the actual cooking time not so much!

Now before you think I have gone and got all healthy on you - I will admit that while I was at the grocery store I bought these for my dessert (hubby doesn't like them too much - darn!! Bahahaa)...

Yep - good ole comfort food in the sweetest sugary way you can get it!!!!

Which leads me to today's question... what are you cooking for dinner as of late? Is there something that you seem to make week after week? Leave me a comment and give me some idea's for next week's dinners!! LOL

Well, I've got to run, I have an ortho appointment today (I am hoping and praying this brace comes off!!!) I hope you all have a Marvelous weekend!

Until Next Time!

We're having BBQ sandwiches tonight. Easy and not to much of a mess. I usually make a lot of chicken on the grill. I'm glad you are back to blogging. Pam

Oh man, Cream Horns are my weakness, only problem is every one else loves them so I only get one and that just ain't enough. LOL

Your stir fry looks good.

My hubby loves Tyson grilled chicken strips simmered in taco seasoning on top of a really good mixed salad. Nice and Light in this heat.
