I'm in love...

Oh did you hear the news?!?!?! Vera Bradley has come out with a new line!!!!  Sigh.... 

Now I am not even sure when I began lusting over Vera Bradley stuff - but man lately everything I have seen Vera has just been soo soooo soooooooo yummy!!!!

Now hubby, he just doesn't get how fabric much less fabric items can be yummy!!!  But it can - and especially this new "Twirly Bird Pink" line!!!  Oh oh oh my!!!  Add to it is PINK (and those who know me know how I can't resist pink)!! And then to add to the mix it is in honor of breast canceer - why who can resist?!?!!?  (NOT ME!!!)

So anyone wanting to know what to get me Christmas any of these would do just fine!!!!

Christmas shopping...

Now that my family and friends are not reading this (yeah right... Bahahaha!!!)  I have a million and one things I need to be doing - not to include the 166 tiles I need to be making, or the laundry I need to be doing, or even the trip to Wally World I should be making... but alas...  Christmas shopping has had me tied up this morning!!!

Is it just me?!?  Am I the only one who likes, no loves to have my Christmas shopping done by Thanksgiving?!?!  I love love love to shop!  Don't get me wrong - but I love love love to get a good deal even more!!!!  So I thought I would share with you my good deals of the day....

First Vera Bradley is having a sale on the Villager Bags!! I love love love these bags!!! They make awesome overnight bags, or day trip bags - and with 25 different designs on sale for $29 (Regular $72 each) I think they will make a great gift for a couple of people on my list!!!!

Then on Woot today - it is two for Tue!!!  Got to love two for the price of one - especially when the one price is soooo cheap!!!!!  So today they have these for sale (and as you know or maybe don't know - WOOT is a one day sale place - you get it today while they have it or you miss out on it!!)  I mean two "blankets with arm holes" and two book lights for $12.99 - what a deal!!!!

Yep here we are - its Monday yet again!!! Sigh...and what an extremely BUSY Monday it is for me!!! 

I got the final order in for the FRG fundraiser I did - and.... (drum roll please...) I now have 166 tiles to make!!!  WOW!!!!  How crazy is that?!?!  But I have to tell you I am super excited!  This many sells means a couple of things... one people LOVE my stuff!!! And that is always an awesome feeling!!!  Two - the FRG made over $1300!!!!  Whooo hoooooo!!!!  That will really help their family readiness group do some great things for their unit and their soldiers - and that is ALWAYS awesome!!!

So needless to say the next week will be BUSY for me....

I hope you all had a GREAT weekend!  I know I did!!! On Saturday I went Kayaking and fishing with the local kayak fishing group here in South East GA!!! It was soooo much fun!!! I actually foul hooked a whiting - but hey I got him in the boat so it counts!!!  Bahahaha!!  Then I also hooked about an 18-20" flounder.  Lucky for me, he did what is called the "flounder flop" and got off my hook before I got him in the boat.  And that's ok with me!!! (I had NO clue how I was going to get him off the hook anyway!!!  LOL)

On Sunday I spent the day walking in the woods with hubby and our past BN commander.  We went out to his family farm and man let me tell you is was awesome out there!!!  We jumped a bunny rabbit, saw some mallards and some quail and even saw two deer!!!!  Not to mention we ran across some of the BIGGEST scrapes and rubs I have EVER seen!!!  Good stuff!!!!

This week is going to be hectic here at Beloved Keepsakes, in addition to getting the tiles done, I am also one of the featured designers of the Oct Grab Bag!!!! Whoooo hoooooo... (more to come soon on that)!  And I have a million and one things (so it seems) to get done for the Anniversary Celebration coming up at VDBC!!!!
