Congrats Kelly!!!
I love the pinwheels. Tfs
I mainly use chalks to accent my cards edges. I also use them to add color to my faces, cheeks, lips, eyes

Woohoo! I am so excited to have won. Thanks, Lori. I haven't used chalks in a long time. I used to use them with my brass embossing templates, but now I mostly use inks and markers.

I just used chalks to age my St. Patrick's day cards. A little darker color than his green hat. A little blush on his cheeks. I don't normally use them, guess I need to start ... Thank you for the day to file!

Congrats Kelly!

Thanks for the cute pinwheels Lori!

I almost always chalk the edges of my cut pieces. I also have chalked the negative parts of some flower files, using them like stencils.

My grandkids love homemade pinwheels! Thank you so much for sharing the files with us!!!
I have never used chalks before but I've been wanting to try it. I picked up a couple at Joann's $1 bin but haven't yet had a chance to try them out. Would so love to have a set with the colors in your gift pack. Thanks so much for giving us the chance to win!! :-)

I love to use chalks to add accents to many of my cutter files. I also chalk prima flowers t o give them very subtle color.

What a fun freebie! We have enough wind this week that pinwheels are the right idea.
I bought some chalk, but I didn't use it for anything other than the edges of some die cuts, and the veins of some cutter leaves. I guess I prefer the intensity of ink for that. I wasn't sure the chalk would stay put, either, long term. Maybe it's time to play with chalk a little more.

patti March 20, 2011 at 6:19 AM

Thank you for the pinwheels! I have never chalked but would like to try!!! pjseagers at hoymail dot com

Barbara March 20, 2011 at 8:19 AM

I've chalked recipe cards, teacher's gifts I made for my grandson last year, and many other projects. I've gone over the edge with chalkboard paint, so yes, chalk is here to stay in my house, lol!
