Clarification!!!

I just want to make sure that I clarify - I AM NOT pregnant!! If you read all the way to the end of the blog post yesterday (instead of just stopping at getting the freebie, hmmm!!! LOL) you would have seen that I called "April Fools"!!!!!

I truly didn't mean to upset anyone one (or send my Father in law to the hospital!!!!)!!!!  It was just a joke!!!!  I mean "HELLLOOOO" it was April 1st!!!!  Sheesh!!! LOL

For those of you that are sad for me - please don't be!!!  I am truly ok with being a "God Mother" and being a step mother!

And for those of you that said that "Karma can be...", Well if I do end up pregnant - then we will be having a little talk with the surgeons!!!  Most husband's got a trip to the Bahama's for their "Welcome Home from Afghanistan" presents - my hubby got a "Welcome Home, I made your appointment for you to have a snip, snap" gift!!  Bahahhaa!!!

An announcement and FREEBIE FRIDAY!!!

Wow..... so the shock has set in and now it has faded (a little, very little actually), hubby has been told and...  well... here it goes....

Guess who's pregnant?!?!?! 

I know HOLY COW!!!!  After 41 years on this earth, four deployment and nine years of Marriage - I am expecting!!!!  Wow...  a baby McDonald on its way?!?!

Needless to say this is TOTALLY not something that we were expecting or even planning...  Yes, we are both in shock - not sure who is in more shock - me or hubby... but well there it is!!

Thus to celebrate - here is today's FREEBIE FRIDAY!!

I think all you  mother's and soon to be mother's (like me, wow how weird is that) can use this one!!!  This design can be used as showed or you can just use the "test stick" on its own! (The top comes off and under it is the actual pee stick!!)  LOL

Our Taxes are DONE!!! Whooo Hooooo!!!!  Not only have the taxes been done, and e-filed but both the IRS and the State Dept of Revue have accepted our returns and we should have our refund in 8 to 15 days!!!

I saw this photo about taxes the other day and had to laugh.... (I hope you see the humor in it, and if you are offended - oppsss... sorry!!)  Personally I would prefer to go to a fair tax myself... but hey...

Now that huge weight is off my back... I really should be painting hubby's office but instead I am designing (I can't forget Freebie Friday is coming up!!) and just trying to be lazy today.

Of course now that the stress of taxes is done there is another stress lingering... waiting to get the results for this one... I'll let you know as soon as I do!!

Just makes me laugh...

I am still pluggin away on closing out the 2010 business expenses so I can do my taxes... and it is so tedious and frustrating and tiring!!!  Thus when one of my friends shared this link with me - I have to say I about PEED in my pants!!!

Now before I share the link I want to give ya a little back ground....  When hubby was in Afghanistan and it was almost time for him to come home (after being gone for over a year), I was talking to a fellow military wife, and dear friend (Yes Jen, I AM talking about you!!!) who made the comment that it was going to be a busy night at the hotels in/at Ft Stewart - and then she said (and I quote) "Brown Chicken, Brown Cow"... and I was like what? What the heck are you talking about?!?!?!

Yes, yes...  I have to admit I have lived a sheltered life (well at least before marrying a military man and hanging around OTHER military wives) and didn't know that "Brown Chicken, Brown Cow" is (according to the Urban Dictionary) An onomatopaeic imitation of the guitar riff commonly heard in 1970's porn movies.  Aka commonly heard as bow chica wow wow.

Ever since that conversation, "Brown Chicken, Brown Cow" has become a common phrase heard in the McDonald (and most military) households!!!  And I must add it is always said with a giggle and a grin!!!

Thus after working hours and hours on taxing (no pun intended) paperwork - when I got this link from one of my "other" military wife friends - I truly did almost pee in my panties!!! Bahahaha!!!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! And can say you had a laugh today!   (And I have to tell you I can't wait for hubby to come home so I can share it with him as well!!)

Or not....  I guess it just depends on each one of us huh???  As for me - I have TAXES to deal with - BLAH!!!!  This is the latest I have EVER done our taxes but with the move, and the unpacking and such - well I have to honestly say that I don't even have the 2010 business expenses and such finished up yet.

So that's this agenda this week - close out the 2010 business year, then get the taxes done and then - my other favorite thing (NOT) painting.... yep I still have one room here that needs to be painted and unpacked...
