The Story Behind the Design....

Have you joined the Beloved Keepsakes QMC yet?!?!  No???  What are you waiting for??!!?? You only have until MIDNIGHT  this SUNDAY night to join!!!!

It looks like we are going to end up with 27 designs total for this QMC (that ends up being about 37 cents a design!!!), and I have to tell you, some of the designs this time around are my favorite Beloved Keepsakes Designs to date!!!!

And speaking of favorite designs - I just uploaded this new design this week (click on the photo to download if you are already have access to the QMC) -

See I have this chair in my living room that I love, love, love - you know that one "Accent" chair that all designers say you should have.....

Well this is my Chair.....

It sits across from the sofa where I sit every night.... one night I was staring off in the distant (yes my mind was in la la land) - and as I was staring I was looking at the chair and notice this.....

It looked like a cute little face that was saying "OH!" And hence... this is how the design came to be!!!

Hubby says it looks like a frog - but I think it is just plain cute and could be used for almost anything since it is so generic!!!  (And if you like it and just have to have it- you can join the Beloved Keepsakes QMC and get it right away!!!)

I have EXCITING news.... yes - very very exciting news for all my cutter fans out there....

VDBC has added a NEW DESIGNER!!!!  Whooooo Hooooooo!!!!!  And while adding a new co-worker is aways awesome - it is especially awesome when it is a long time dear friend (and fellow military wife!!!)!!!

Thus I am soooo super excited to announce that my dear friend Ileana of "I Scrap Designs" is now a part of the VDBC More Team!!!!  (Oh yeah... doing the happy dance here!!)

Super Duper Excited....

So I have to say I am super duper excited today!!! Last night I purchased my tickets to see "Wicked" at the Fox Theater in Atlanta!!!!

Whoooo Hoooooo!!!!

Back in High School and in College I worked in the theater... mainly behind the scenes, costumes, lighting, stage that sort of thing - and I LOVE IT!!!!

One of the things hubby promised when we moved to the Atlanta area was that we would go to theater and other events that we didn't have the ability to do when we lived in Savannah.... and he has gone over and beyond in keeping his word!!!

A few months back we went to see "Rock of Ages" and it was AMAZING!!!

Everyone rants and raves about "Wicked"  so I am just hoping that I will not be disappointed!!

Has any one been before?  Was it good?  Would you go again???  Leave me a comment in the comment section and let me know!!!  I read the book several years ago and had a hard time getting into it - but about 1/2 through I started really enjoying it...  I am wondering should I go back and re-read it before going to see it?!?!
My tickets are for NEXT week - so I will make sure I come back and tell you ALL about it!!!  (Oh I can't wait... doing the happy dance here!!! Bahahaahaha!!)

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I have to say for me - it was a weekend of remembering, a weekend of tears and a weekend of joy!!! Being a military wife can be trying at times - but I have to say a day doesn't go by that it isn't rewarding.... and in the memory of 9/11 all I can say is I am soooo proud to stand beside a soldier who helps protect our country!

Yes - I feel blessed!!!
