It's a New Day... A New Way!

Well today is a new day, and with this new day comes a new way!!!!  YEP, we (hubby and I) have decided we are going to try to kick the ugly white beast (called sugar and processed foods) and try to start eating Paleo!  I think the deciding factor for me was this photo which was taken yesterday!!!!

With this new way of eating comes a whole new way of cooking, and prepping and even stocking!  So I did a ton of online research and then purchased two new cookbooks...

And then for for the biggest change - I emptied out our refrigerator of all processed food!!  Anything in a box, anything that was bread, grain, or sugar related - out it went (WITH THE EXCEPTION of my DIET COKE!!! I am not giving that up - at least not just yet!!!)

Having done all of that - I can't tell you how bear my pantry and refrigerator was!!!!  So off to shop...  the only things I kind of had a hard time finding were these items.... (but as you see I did find them!!! LOL)

Then this morning I sat down and made up my weekly menu... starting with tonight... Spaghetti and meat sauce.. only instead of spaghetti noodles I will be using spaghetti squash!!!!

I'll let you know how it goes!!!

Until Next Time~
