Veterans Day 2013

Wow... here we are... Veterans Day! A day where we have the chance to take time out to thank those who have served, who are serving and who will continue to serve so that we may enjoy the life and the freedom we have today. Today is a bitter sweet day for me. While I think there is nothing more important than taking the time to actually thank the people who allow me to live the life of freedom that I do. It is a day that makes me miss my husband even more as he is in a war zone even as I type this.

So a special thank you to my husband.  Thank you for your patriotism, your bravery and your loyalty to your country.  Though I don't always understand it, I admire it greatly and know that I and everyone around me has a better life because you feel the call to protect us.

I love you Andrew and I am VERY proud to be your wife!  Be Safe, Run Fast, Shoot Straight and know I will be here waiting on you!

So please take time out of your day today to thank a Veteran.  They have given so much so that we can have so very much more!
