Tickled Pink....

Wow - where does the time go??? I just realized that I never blogged yesterday!!! MAN!!! I had to run into town and complete a few errands. Then when I got back I made chicken salad, and then I cut a photo mat for my next door neighbor, then I worked on my free file that will be offered in the Paperthreads newsletter.... and before I knew it - it was midnight!!!

CRAZY!!!

Anyway - since hubby is off at training I decided to give him a pass for Valentine's Day. I mean he is sooo swamped - and he did such an amazing job on my Christmas and Birthday presents... I decided that I didn't want him to stress about VD and I didn't want to be upset if (probably WHEN) he forgot all about it......

But that doesn't mean that I decided to let him off scott free - oh no.... that just meant that I purchased my own gift!!! Bahahahaha!!!

With the Paperthread's retreat fastly approaching I decided that I need a new scrapbooking tote! I really hope that I can actually get some scrapping done while I am there.... and since my old bag bit the dust a while back I decided to shop around for a new one!!!

And I found it!! The most perfect bag!!!! And... it had a matching laptop bag too!!! Ok, Ok - I know I already had a laptop bag - but this one was more better!!! So I sold my other bag and used that money to get this one (and I LOVE it!!!!!).......

What can I say - I am tickled PINK!!!!!

And the really cool thing about this scrapbooking rolling tote is that you can also use it as a airline carry on - it folds down completely flat for storage and the laptop case has a strap that allows you to hook it on the handle of the roller bag!!! LOVE IT!!!

Both bags are made by Mimi and are very very very well made!! I was actually quite impressed with the quality!! Add to the fact that I got both bags for cheaper than what just the roller bag retails for!! And they are PINK - BONUS!!!!

Now I just have to get all my stuff together to take with me... that is the really hard part. Trying to decide what I need to take with me so while I am scrapping I have everything I need!!!

I am not tooo very good with the "pre-planning" of pages... I am a more create as I go along type of girl... so I have a feeling this is going to be pretty hard for me..... Does anyone have any tips??? How do you decided or plan what you are going to take with you to a crop??? I would love to hear!!!! And could use any help you can give me!!!

Until Next Time!
Cya~

  2. I have been to one crop in my life. It was lots of fun, and I sat across from a very organized scrapbooker. She was working on a specific album, and brought only what she knew she would need to complete "X" number of pages during the crop. She had her cutting machine and laptop, her photos, and the embellishments, tools, etc. that she anticipated needing to complete those pages. I was SO impressed! Most of the long-time scrappers/crop-attenders brought enough supplies to open a small shop!! She was able to be very productive, and still have fun. Hope this is helpful.
