Tickled Pink....

Wow - where does the time go??? I just realized that I never blogged yesterday!!! MAN!!! I had to run into town and complete a few errands. Then when I got back I made chicken salad, and then I cut a photo mat for my next door neighbor, then I worked on my free file that will be offered in the Paperthreads newsletter.... and before I knew it - it was midnight!!!

CRAZY!!!

Anyway - since hubby is off at training I decided to give him a pass for Valentine's Day. I mean he is sooo swamped - and he did such an amazing job on my Christmas and Birthday presents... I decided that I didn't want him to stress about VD and I didn't want to be upset if (probably WHEN) he forgot all about it......

But that doesn't mean that I decided to let him off scott free - oh no.... that just meant that I purchased my own gift!!! Bahahahaha!!!

With the Paperthread's retreat fastly approaching I decided that I need a new scrapbooking tote! I really hope that I can actually get some scrapping done while I am there.... and since my old bag bit the dust a while back I decided to shop around for a new one!!!

And I found it!! The most perfect bag!!!! And... it had a matching laptop bag too!!! Ok, Ok - I know I already had a laptop bag - but this one was more better!!! So I sold my other bag and used that money to get this one (and I LOVE it!!!!!).......

What can I say - I am tickled PINK!!!!!

And the really cool thing about this scrapbooking rolling tote is that you can also use it as a airline carry on - it folds down completely flat for storage and the laptop case has a strap that allows you to hook it on the handle of the roller bag!!! LOVE IT!!!

Both bags are made by Mimi and are very very very well made!! I was actually quite impressed with the quality!! Add to the fact that I got both bags for cheaper than what just the roller bag retails for!! And they are PINK - BONUS!!!!

Now I just have to get all my stuff together to take with me... that is the really hard part. Trying to decide what I need to take with me so while I am scrapping I have everything I need!!!

I am not tooo very good with the "pre-planning" of pages... I am a more create as I go along type of girl... so I have a feeling this is going to be pretty hard for me..... Does anyone have any tips??? How do you decided or plan what you are going to take with you to a crop??? I would love to hear!!!! And could use any help you can give me!!!

Until Next Time!

Weigh in Wednesday...

Well here we are again - weigh in Wednesday....

I have to admit I was a little worried about this weeks weigh in... I mean I spent all most all of this past week living in a hotel and eating out. I TRIED to be good - and for the most part I really was! I haven't had sweet tea in two weeks now. The only night I ate desert was the night of the formal Military Ball (hey it was this awesome chocolate truffle like cake with the yummiest cream cheesiest icing with REAL cool whip!!!! What's a girl to do?!??!! BUT I didn't eat the whole thing!!! I am proud of that!!!)

Anyway - the official weigh in today was:

203.5 lb

Meaning - I lost 2 lbs this week! That brings my total for the past two weeks to 7 lbs lost and 55.5 lbs left to go to met my goal weight.

So - not too bad I don't guess. I wish it had been more.... but considering the circumstances - I guess I should be really happy that I LOST weight and didn't gain it!!!

Ok so for this week - I need to keep up with my good eating habits and I need to WALK on the TREADMILL!!!! I am finding that really hard to do... I'm not sure why. Cuase once I am up there and walking I am finding - it is just getting motivated enough to GET UP THERE!!!

So there you have it... weigh in Wednesday is complete and I'll see you right here next week, same, time, same place - HOPEFULLY better news!!!
Allrighty then - now what about the rest of ya???? When I started this two weeks ago there were a ton of you that were going to climb on the accoutablity band wagon - and last week - there wasn't that many of you..... so..... WHERE ARE YOU GUYS??? And how did you do??? Leave me a comment in the comment section and let me know I a not alone on this - OK!?!?!?

Until Next Time!

The ball....

Hello all you blog readers!!! I have returned!!! Both in mind and in body - at least I think I have!! LOL

So the military ball was this past weekend.... and oh what a ball it was!!! There was a TON of people there.... and I was able to see some of my favorite people I haven't seen since the LAST deployment!

I am happy to report that my weight lose last week made it easy to get into my dress and even better yet - I was actually able to sit down and BREATH!!! So that was a huge huge huge relief (in more ways than one!!! Bahahaha!!)

Here is the "official" photo that was taken at the ball:

And then here is one that we took ourselves (which I like much better):

And then here is a photo of my hubby sporting his new "Cav" hat!!! I am still having a pretty hard time seeing him in this! But he has totally embraced the whole "Cav" thing and I do have to admit it does make it really easy to figure out which guys are ours in a room full of people!!

All in all it was a totally good time.... it was kind of hard to make sure I ate well - I mean living in a hotel for five days and eating out makes it kind of hard to be good..... (but we will have to wait until tomorrow to see if I was as good as I thought I was though!!!)

It was really great to spend those days with my hubby especially since he is now heading to JRTC for some kind of training before heading off to the land of unknown.... we will have at least one more four day pass (maybe two???) and that will be it.

So if you are of the praying kind - please add him and his guys to your prayer list!
I think that is it for today. I am off to finish my test cuts.... I have a little over 25 new files I need to get up!

So..... Until Next Time...

Finally home.....

And I am beat!!! Will have to blog more tomorrow - I have some ball photos to share and a few stories as well!! Sorry I didn't blog while I was gone - a few days I didn't have internet and then when I did I was spending as much time as I could with my hubby!! I am hoping you will forgive me!!!

Kind of scared to get on the scales after spending the past four days living in hotels and eating out.... grrrr.... hopefully it won't be tooo bad!!!

Ok - the dogs are napping (they must have had a hard time at the kennel) and it is raining here - sooooo I think I am going to join them!

Until Next Time!
