I miss my bed!!!

Sorry I am blogging so late today!! Nothing has gone the way I thought it was going to go!!! Dang it!!!! I got up thinking my day was going to go one way - and then it went totally another!!! On a good note I have gotten some of my files converted so there will be some new files up in the store soon!!! But on a bad note I didn't get much designing done on this trip!!!

I love getting away from my house sometimes - but man I miss MY BED!!! LOL There is just nothing that compares to your very own bed - you know what I am talking about - you know you do!!!

Oh another great thing about this trip - I got to shop!!! FUN!!! I picked up a ton of great scrapbooking paper at the Hobby Lobby for 50% off! Yum Yum!!! And then I visited a local scrapbooking store and I got to lay my eyes on this great Altered Item stuff.... I can't wait to share that with you!!!! Even hubby got in on the shopping and we picked up a couple of deer stand for DIRT cheap!!!!

Speaking of sharing with you - I think I am going to host a challenge here on my blog - anyone up to a scrapping/journaling challenge?? Let me know.....

Getting on the Band Wagon...

I hate new year resolutions. I think they are demoralizing!!! I mean you make a list of things you want to accomplish during the year. You make big plans to achieve this list of things and as the year goes by you get further and further away from accomplishing your goals... Then by the end of the year - you haven't accomplished your resolutions and you feel like total crap!!!! Did I mention I just hate New Year Resolutions?!?! Thus I have decided I am NOT going to do it!!! Nope I just am not going to do it!!! Instead... this year I have decided to jump on a NEW band wagon!!!

Last year my friend Susan participated in the "Ali Edwards One Little Word Challenge". In this challenge Ali says "A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.... Last year I began a tradition of choosing one word for myself each January - a word that I can focus on, mediate on, and reflect upon as I go about my daily life."

Yesterday, as I was catching up on some of my blog reading, I found that along with Ali Edwards, my friend Susan and even Tim Holtz have taken one the "one little word" challenge this year.... and I have decided to jump on the band wagon!!!

After much debate, much thought, and even careful consideration I have decided that my "one little word" for this year is Focus.

"Focus: to concentrate on or cluster around a central point or purpose."

I want to have more focus in my life, more focus on my work, more focus in my relationships, more focus on being a better wife, a better friend. I want to have more focus on my path to being a Godly graceful woman!!!!

So how about it - want to jump on the band wagon with me??? What is your "One Little Word" for 2008??? Leave me a comment I would LOVE to hear it!!!

WOW!!!

I just can't say thank you enough for all the well wishes and birthday thoughts!!! This blog and Paperthreads has totally opened up a whole new set of friends for me!!! I just feel soooo blessed!!!!

Not a lot to report - I decided to take a road trip with hubby. He had a business trip he had to go on so I decided to tag alone. It was great to sleep in at the hotel today - go to the lobby and there was breakfast already cooked - and then back to the room for un interrupted computer time!!! Whoooo hooooo!!!

I am hoping this trip will allow me to catch up on files, create more files and get my Funtime 102 tutorial completed!!! Wish me luck!!!! Bahahaha....

Happy Birthday to.....

ME!!!! Whoo Hooo!!! Oh yeah, oh yeah!!! It's my birthday!!! Bahahaha!!!!

HaPpY NeW's EvE!!!!

I thought I would take a moment to pop in and say HAPPY NEW'S YEAR EVE!!!!! Hubby has some Army buddies coming over to night to hang out and celebrate so I have to get to prepping my food soon.....

But I wanted to take time to say thank you. Thank you to all my blog readers. Thank you to all my customers, my family, my friends. Thank you especially to my hubby. Wow - just thank you all!

2007 was such an amazing year - yes it had some ups and it had some major downs.... but over all it wasn't THAT bad!!! LOL I think I am most thankful that in 2007 I was able to take my hobby and make it my "job". It is such a rewarding feeling to be able to work at something that you love - something that you are passionate about. And then to see OTHER people use your product to document their lives in their scrapbooks. To see others use your products to make gifts for their loved ones - WOW! That is the most amazing feeling!!!

So thank YOU!!!! You made this happen for me! And I am very very grateful!!! So bring on 2008!!!! I am ready!!! Bahahahaha.....

I am not one to be much on New Year's Resolutions - but this year there are a couple of things I hope to accomplish - I want to grow my business.
