It just dawned on me....

Due to getting so sick last Sunday - I didn't tell you about my movie date with my hubby!!! I have such a WONDERFUL hubby!! He will actually go to the "Chick Flicks" with me if I ask nice enough!! Bahahaha.....

So last Sunday we went and saw "Atonement"! Oh my GOODNESS!

Now let me warn you this is not a feel good movie - it has no happy ending - but it is riveting. The cinematography is superb! The scenery is amazing. And the lesson is that we as humans have the power to change people's lives with the choices that we make - either good or bad!!!

I have to admit even though I am an avid reader I didn't not read the book so I can not compare the two - but I can tell you that the sound track was sooooo powerful I purchased it on download and have it on my Kindle to read by!!!

I give this one two thumbs up!!!

Show and tell and Recovery Update...

First I want to say thank you soo very much for all the well wishes and prayers. I tell you I don't know what I have but it is yucky and it doesn't seem to want to go away!!!

Add to the fact I HATE being sick - I mean I totally HATE it!! Well lets just say hubby was soooo glad to be going back to the office today - he practically ran out the door!!! Bahahaha...

Not a lot going on here - just trying to catch and at the same time trying to get as much rest as I can.....

I did want to show you an awesome layout that I received from one of my dedicated blog readers. Awhile back I had asked for suggestions for future files..... Well several people posted some ideas... One in particular caught my eye....

The requests was a plea for help on a title or how the person who was always behind the camera include herself in her scrapbooks..... Well I came up with the file "Hiding Behind the Camera".

I contacted the blog reader who had the great idea and gave her the file for FREE - for giving me such a great idea!!! Then a few days ago she sent me a photo of her layout!!!!

So here it is - I think it it totally awesome!! You did a GREAT job BEC!!! Thank you soooo very much for sharing your layout with us!!!!

Return to the living...

Wheewwww... it has been a really long couple of days!!! First let me say I am soooo soooo soooo terrible sorry that I haven't blogged in a few days!!! On Sunday evening I ended up getting REALLY sick (I mean really really really sick).... thus I ended up in the ER on Monday - and then I WAS scheduled to have surgery yesterday - but when I got there they decided to postpone it since I had been soooo incredible sick. So they gave me some IV fluids and sent me home... I guess we will try surgery again next week!

Thrills huh???

So during all this excitement - I missed the Paperthreads Customer Appreciation Sale on Monday!!! I heard it was a total blast and I am really bummed that I missed it!!!!


I was so sick I was unable to host my challenge nor did I get my "free TERMS RESTRICTED" file loaded for you...... Thus I think I will post my challenge later on the month or the beginning of next month - so keep watch for that!!!

And since I didn't get to share my file I designed for Customer Appreciation Day - I will post it for you today!!!!
