Some days...

As a designer - some days everything just works... I mean my designs come out just like I picture them, they cut out perfectly the first time... and my machine cuts like a dream.  And then some days... some days nothing seems to go right!!!  Today is one of those days!!! Nothing is coming out like I saw it in my head, I have actually cut one item SEVEN times now - and my machine is not cutting right!!!  GRRRRRR!!!!

And while I am whinning - why is it that the smoke detector's battery always seems to go dead and starts beeping at 3:30 AM?!?!  And why is it I am the only one who hears it???  Needless to say after I get up and I go change the battery I am wide awake...  which means now I really want to take a nap!

Sigh....

Anyway - I am still busy creating away for next months Grab Bag.... I can't wait to tell you what the topic is - you are sooo going to love this one!!!

Hmmmmm want a tiny sneak peek?!?!?  Don't tell Chris!!! 

I told you it was tiny!!!  Bahahaha!!

Ok - I am off to try and get the rest of my test cutting done!  My dear friend Stacy is going to be in the Atlanta area tomorrow and I plan to meet up with her for lunch thus no work for me (and maybe no blogging??!?!  We will have to wait and see!).

Where did the time go?!?!

I just got a text from my hubby saying he is on his way home - and I thought what the heck?!?!  Where did today go????

Well actually I know where today went - it went into designing!!!  Whooo hooooo!!!!  I had a friendly reminder from my dear friend Chris that I am one of the featured designers for next months GRAB BAG!!!!

Exciting!!!  Even more exciting when you see the topic for next month!! I am sooo thrilled to be a part of this one!!!

Happy Monday!!!

Ok, normally I would never say that Monday's are happy days... but today we have yesterday's prize pack winner announcement along with the "Back in Action" Grand Prize winner announcement so I think that qualifies this Monday to be "happy"!  Do you agree?!!?!

Before getting to the winners - lets do a little house cleaning... first up....

I just want to thank each and every one of you for the warm welcome back.  You know when you don't do something or are not around something very much you tend to forget just HOW much you really love it!  Because of the move and everything else, I had to take a pretty good bit of time off and I have to say I kind of forgot (for a lack of a better word) how much I love you guys and how much I REALLY love designing!  So I am very very very happy to be back - and it really did my heart (and my mind and ego) good to know that YOU my online friends and customer are glad that I am back as well!!! SO THANK YOU!!!

Today's the FINAL Day!!!

It's the last day of Beloved Keepsakes "I'm Back in Action" celebration!!!!!
