Just a quick drive by.....

I am stopping in really quick to say "HEY!" Hope you all have a GREAT holiday weekend!!! I was hoping to have a "Friday Freebie" but I haven't gotten it finished yet.....

So maybe it will come about on Monday - I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Oh - I have a really quick question for you.... back last year I made these photo stars to hang on my wall! Well this past weekend I had several people ask me if I would think about making some to sell as custom orders......



Would this be something you would be interested in? Do you think it is a good idea? And if so... how much would you think they are worth (The large star is 24" and the smaller ones are 16")


And one last question - I also made 6" stars as Christmas tree ornaments.... do you think people would like to order them as well? And how much do you think they are worth??

Crazy....

That is about the sum of my life right now.... I swear I don't know if I am coming or going!!!
Hubby has been gone out of town yet again.... and you would seem to think that I would have more time on my hands... but some how or another I seem to end up working longer and harder and feeling more and more behind!!! Sheesh!!!

So it is a holiday weekend coming up.... any plans??? I pick up hubby tomorrow at the airport and then on Saturday we are heading to the family Reunion! That should be fun!! Hubby has never met anyone from that side of the extended family!! And let me tell you - that is my country speaking side!!! LOL

Should be fun......

Ok - I am off to take a bath and then back to test cutting!!! I have 11 orders to get out by tomorrow (and ten of them were custom orders!!!).... wheew ~ and then I will feel like I can breath again!!!!

Can you say....

Slacker?!?!?!?! Ok, ok... I really am not a total slacker! I really did mean to blog yesterday - HONEST I did..... but alas.... it just didn't happen!!!

But you will be happy to know that even with an upset tummy (I think I have a small tummy bug - can you say yuck!) I have been a busy busy busy little bee.... and trying hard to get some stuff knocked out!!!! HONEST...... see here is my proof! This is what my desk NORMALLY looks like (and yes before you ask I am OCD - everything has a place and everything in its place!!!)



And this is what my desk looks like right now.......



So see I have been busy! Of course all the busyness has left me feeling frustrated..... I am about over TS Fay. We have dealt with her three times with all her going North, then Heading West, then heading back North East... and let me tell you - 5.5 inches of rain is just not good!! Even with my dehumidifier cranking - the humidity is off the charts - and high humidity ='s bad cutting for me!!!! And now we have the other storm heading towards the Gulf.... sheesh!!!!

Ok - enough whining from me.... I hope you will forgive me for not posting yesterday - I promise to try and do better!!! But hey - if I am working so hard (and as you can tell from my desk I AM!!!), that means new files for you at Paperthreads and new titles and embellishments at Beloved Keepsakes - and we all know that is GOOD!

It's official!!!

I am keeping the new living room furniture!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! And see here's the deal... we had a get together at our house this past weekend - mainly all military friends of hubby's along with the boss and even my parents came!!!! Well all said and done we had 18 adults, one preteen and two babies present...... Well it was suppose to be a cookout (as in OUTSIDE) but TS Fay did NOT cooperated - so right in the middle of grilling the bottom FELL out!!!! And we ended up with all those people IN our house!!!!

And they ALL FIT!!!!! Whhhooooo Hooooooooo!!!!!! (Thank Goodness!!!)

I was actually really surprised that when I got the puppy pen out of the dinning room and actually was able to put my table and chairs back to where they belong - the over all effect was pretty awesome!!! (Now I am not saying you would see my house in "Home and Gardens" but I do think it turned out pretty good! And add to the fact that the sofa is major comfy!!! Yep I am keeping it all!!!!)
