Drama, Drama, Drama.....

I only have a second to post today as I am having to deal with some "family drama"! (Can I tell you how much I hate the drama.... and some people in life are sooo unhappy! Man, I just don't know how they function!!!)

But anyway.... I do have some EXCITING news.... Today was my one month weigh in with my Dr - and according to their charts - I have lost .... 12.8 lbs!!! Whooo hoooo!!!

Ok so I am still over the nasty number (But not by much! I weighed in today at their office at 201. Last time I was there which was 30 days ago I was 213.8) so it won't be long before I can say see ya to the big ole"#2" as in 200!!! Bahahaha....

Got to run.... promise I will blog first thing next time and I will share some projects!!

Behind again.....

Some days I have know clue where the time goes.... I just looked at the clock and it is 6:40 PM
and I haven't blogged today!!! Sheesh!!!!!

Not a lot to report - just working on new files... and getting some star orders finished up and out the door....

Tomorrow is the monthly weigh in with the Dr.'s office.... I am a little nervous to see what she has to say!!! I mean I know what my scale says - but..... what will her's say - you know?!?!?

A lot of you download the free TRF yesterday!! I am soo glad that people found it useful! I can't wait to see what you guys will do with it!! (Don't forget to send me a photo of your completed project!!!) I really plan to be faithful to the weekly freebie - so make sure you check back often!!!

Weigh in Wed... and a little something....

Good morning all you blog readers!!! Hope this fine Wed. morning finds you all good and well!!! I have tons to do today - so let's move it along!

First order of business.... Weigh in Wednesday.... dum du dum.... I tell you last Wednesday seems to have been years ago - time is going really slow (as it always does as we get ready for a deployment)..... but today was the day.... weigh in day!

So.... I am fastly approaching the one month mark (I actually have an "official" weigh in with my Dr. on Friday)... so today I was a little apprehensive to get on the scales. I mean last week wasn't such a good week you know..... So here it is - today's official weigh in was 201 lbs!!!

That means I lost 2 lbs this week! Which brings my total weight lose to 9.5 lbs and that leaves me with 53 lbs still to go!!!

Not bad.... not as much as I would like... but as I have said this whole entire time - this is a life style change. It isn't a quick fix!!! Now the real test is going to be Friday when we see what the Dr's office scale says!!! (I'll keep you posted!!) I pray that next week I am below that NASTY number!!! LOL

Now on to the next item of business -

One of the things I really haven't had time to do in the past several months is give away "freebies" here on my blog! I use to be really really good at this - and I have to tell you it is something that I actually miss doing! So I am planning on bring back what use to be "Freebie Fridays!" BUT.... now here's the catch (you know that there is always a catch right!!! Bahahaha) I don't think I am going to limit it to a certain day! No rules.... just fun! That is going to be the motto!!

Thus here is the plan... the plan is every week I will post one free cutter file on my blog! Can't tell you what day it will be as I am just going to go with the flow! (Now that means you will have to check back more often - but hey - it is what it is!! LOL)

I actually had a free file on Monday as it was "Customer Appreciation Day" at Paperthreads.... but I am going to do it again this week - and guess what - TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

Well... it's over.....

Man Can I tell you how much FREAKING fun I had yesterday!! All my Paperthreads friends and customers - YOU ROCK!!!!! I pretty much was glued to my computer from 12:01 AM yesterday morning until 3:20 AM (when I finally went to bed) and then from 8:10 AM until 12:50 AM THIS morning!!!!

Between all the comments here on my blog, the CAD Scavenger Hunt and then just trying to keep up with all the emails and forum post - man it was CRAZY!!! (Made me think about Black Friday, you know the sales the day after Thanksgiving??? Where people are push and pulling and busting down doors!!! Thank goodness I was home and you can't bruise me up though the computer!!!!! Bahahaha!!)

All in all - it really was a wonderful day! As I stated yesterday I am so thankful and I feel so blessed to have this job (which most of the time doesn't even feel like a job)! It allows me to help support my family and spend time with my husband when he is home! (And it keeps me really busy when he is not!!)

Thank you to everyone that purchased files yesterday! I hope you enjoyed getting 50% off!!! (That doesn't happen but twice a year in my section of the store!!)

Now on to the good stuff so we can wrap CAD (Customer Appreciation Day) 2009 up!

We had 13 people send in answers to the BK's CAD Scavenger Hunt!!! (Thank you guys for playing!!) Seems I might have made it a little hard! But some of you really know your designers and their style!!! I have posted all the winners and the correct answer's over at the forum - But once again I would like to say congratulations to KELLY for being the first person with all the correct answers!!! (Her email came in at 12:25 AM!!!) And our GRAND PRIZE WINNER was DEB!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!

All thirteen players received my "Scavenger Hunt" file, Kelly also received "Be on the LooK out!" And "I spy" and Deb got all three of them PLUS she will be getting all 12 of the files that she had to "hunt" for!!! So once again Congrats!!!!

Now for all of you that left a message yesterday on my blog!! First of all - THANK YOU!!! I know it is a huge pain in the patooty to leave a message - but sometimes it is REALLY nice to know that I am not out here in cyberland alone - talking to myself!!! (I do enough of that at home!!! LOL... Why do you think I got dogs??? Now I can I am talking to them instead of my self!! BAHAHAHA!!!)

It's CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY!!!!

I personally want to thank each and every one of you that have purchased my files in the past for allowing me to work from home... and hence being able to spend so much time with hubby this past year before he deploys yet again!!!
