Yummy...

One of the things I want to make more time for in my life is scrapping for myself!!  You know I play with paper and glue pretty much everyday but very seldom is it for my own memories....  And this makes me kind of sad.  Thus I have made a commitment to start scrapping for me (and for family) again. 

Thus imagine how SHOCKED I was to find out that there is an Achievers less than 20 min's from our house!!! Yes, yes I have lived here eight months - but who knew!!!  I can promise you - I know NOW(I am sure to hubby's disappointment!! LOL)  - that's for sure!!!!!

So I ran up there today to look around and get inspired andmlet me show you the YUMMY two items I left with....

First of all I picked up this awesome Army Uniform Scrapbook!!!!

After 21 years in the Army I have a ton of photos from all of hubby's adventures to scrap and preserve!!!!  So that means in addition to the scrapbook I just HAD to pick up the coordinating paper pack too!!!  I mean I just HAD to get it!!!

(At least that's my story and I am sticking too it!!! Bahahaha!!!)

Both of these items are just soooooo yummy!!! (You know what I mean - you know you do!!!)

Ah... Tuesday....

Do you ever just thank the Lord that is it Tuesday?!?!  Let me tell you after the Monday I had.... I am very very very thankful that it is Tuesday!!!

See I have 33 military tiles that I need to get completed for a pre-paid order.  They are all customized and personalized so they take a bit of time as it is - but yesterday... ah yesterday... for the LIFE OF ME I couldn't get my KNK to cut correctly!!!  I spent over 5 fives hours trying to figure out what was wrong....

Then I spent another three hours virus scanning, updating, defraging and malware checking my computer....

After a night of tossing and turning I got up at 3:30 AM and started working on the cutting issue again!!!  LOW and BEHOLD I solved it!!! FINALLY!!!! Talk about a calamity of issues!  It wasn't just one thing....

But the moral to this tale - one, I am once up and cutting correctly again, persistence pays off!  And two, even a long time cutter designer has cutting issues from time to time!! Bahahahahaha!!!!

For those of you that are part of the QMC - I uploaded a new design today.... I think it turned out pretty cute.... you can use is with the title or without....

Now one last thing... for those of you who believe in the power of prayer.... the bank told us on Friday that we need to make our highest offer on our "dream" retirement house....  we submitted it yesterday and now we just wait to see if they are going to accept it or not.......  Thus.... if you believe in the power of prayer - please say a little prayer that the bank will accept our offer (it is a fair offer) and that by Thanksgiving we will be living here!!!

Frustrating....

Thank goodness it is FRIDAY - cause  I have to tell you I am beyond frustrated!!!!  Grrrr...... 

I think that there must be some malware or a virus on my computer cause things are just disappearing... seriously!!!  Just poof!  From emails to a zip cutter design for the QMC to some photos... just gone?!?!?!

Then if that wasn't frustrating enough - we still haven't heard from the stupid stupid bank on our last counter offer.... then my carpet cleaner that I just had repaired last week really isn't repaired, and to top that off hubby is sick (not like sick sick, but sick like bad cough, wheezing in his chest... he is at the Dr's now)...

Sigh.....

But on a good note...... two things...
