Wow... Eight years!!
Today is our 8th wedding anniversary. Wow - 8 years!!! This is longer than I was married to my first husband! This is longer than I was in college. Man.... eight years and hubby isn't even here to celebrate the fact that neither one of us have killed the other yet!! Bahahaha!!!
It is kind of sad though... I sat down and figured it out that in the eight years that we have been married Hubby has actually only been home on THREE of our anniversaries... Sigh....
If I had to do it ALL over again - I can honestly say I would. I do wish at times he had chosen another profession... military life is hard. Well lets just call a spade a spade and say military life sucks for a family! But it who he is, it is what we do!
Lucky for me, I have great friends who refuse to allow me to mope, so it was off to a yummy lunch with my friend Karen and off to dinner with some other great friends....
And who knows, maybe next year hubby will actually be here to celebrate the day!
Happy Anniversary Hubby~
Until Next Time!
