Vinyl....

So you know the other day I was telling you that I decided to decorate my husband jeep for when I go to pick him up from his deployment... That in the past I had used that Window chalk and that it turned out HORRIBLE....

Well every since my friend Jen convinced me that vinyl isn't the enemy but can actually be a lot of fun... I decided to cut vinyl to decorate the windows.

Since I still don't know when hubby is going to be home - I decided to go ahead an apply my vinyl now while it was sunny and warm and this way if I get a last minute phone call I won't be stressed out that the Jeep wasn't decorated or that I didn't have enough time to get it done.

Therefore I headed out the other day with my papered chief scrapper, my brayer and my vinyl.... and......

Here is the end results!!!!

I am soooo ecstatic!!! Can I tell you I love love love vinyl!!! It really turned out awesome in my opinion!!! I did learn a few lessons along the way - but I am happy to report I only had to re-cut one of the windows!!! (Pretty impressive if I do say so myself!!!)

So if you haven't tried cutting vinyl yet- what are you waiting for??? The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!

Until Next Time!

Cya~

Nice JOB! I am getting ready to make the leap to vinyl also. What type of vinyl do you use on cars versus indoor walls? I am assuming the vinyl you used will peel of fairly easily without damaging the car. Correct? But you don't want it to peel off too easily or would come off too soon.

Wonderful job. I love the font on the back window. I just finished my first wall words. It was fun. Opens up many possibilities. Now if I can only learn to design!

I love it! I hope you get several beeping supporters while you're out on the road. And I hope that he keeps it all on for weeks after his arrival!

This made me a little watery in the eyes. How wonderful, what a great way to welcome him home - and it looks so brilliant I bet every other car on the road honks their horns for you!
