Why...

Why is it that Monday's are always soooo crazy?!?! I just don't get it!!!

Sorry I am so late posting today - but today has been a crazy crazy day!! I actually thought, man I need to grab some lunch - and then I looked at the clock - and it is 5:30 PM. Uh a little late for lunch I am thinking!!!

I have spent the better part of the day getting some items ready for the VDBC newsletter together!! You HAVE signed up for the newsletter right?!?! There are some great things coming out this time - including a helpful article written by ME!!!

So how was your weekend? We actually had a great time! It was the "Hail and Farewell" and "Change of Command" weekend for us. On Saturday night hubby was "hailed and farewell'ed" from our old unit - and starting today we belong to a new unit. It was very hard to say goodbye to some of these people! The Cav unit has been really awesome to us and we have experienced some of the best leadership we have every worked with in this unit!!

I was soo proud of my hubby - they presented him with the unit "Colors":

And then they presented him with a statue called "I was there".

Really amazing!!!

Just as we are both sad to be leaving our old unit and our friends, we are both excited to be moving to our new unit! Can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us there. We are also hoping and praying that we will end up with a full time job there come Oct 1st. (As of right now, we are still going to be jobless come Oct 1st! Which isn't very far away at all!!! YIKES!!!)

Got to run - hope you all have a "less stressful Monday" than I seem to be having!
