Joy oh Joy....

So have you heard about the "Online Scrapbooking Show", Scrap-a-faire??? I received a coupon to enter for free so I though - what the hey (you know how I love a deal!!).... and off I went!!!

HOLY COW!!!!! Can you say Scrapbookers Shopping Paradise?!?!? Needless to say I have found some new products that I just HAD to add to my wish list..... So I thought I would share a few of them with you today!!! (You are sooooo going to love reading my blog today- let me tell you!!!)

First up - have you seen the new "GLUE GLIDER MAX"? This is awesome!!!! It received the prestigious “Most Innovative New Product Award” during the annual 2007 International Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Convention and Trade Show held in Chicago. This product is your glue runner on steroids - and the great thing is you don't have to thread the tape!!! Thus no gumming up! Yep, you heard right - if you want to switch tapes - you just pull the cartridge out, push a new one in.... and they have OVER a 100 feet per cartridge!!! (It is so new, it isn't going to start shipping till Dec 14th, but if you go to the Scrap-a-Faire, you get a special link to get a great deal and pre-order!!!!) You HAVE to check it out!!!! They are also the ones that have came out with the new Vellum tape that I have been hearing RAVE reviews on!! You can see that here!

The next REALLY cool thing I found (and purchased already) was this Military Music Box with digital download!! I am very excited as I plan to give this as a Christmas present to someone that is import to our family!!!

Oh - and then you have to check out this line of paper!!! Can you say YUMMY!!!!! I especially like the Middle East papers (duh!) and the "On the road again" line!!!

Now I am not a stamper - not at all but I thought this was way cool - it is a make it yourself stamp kit!!! The "Stamping Making Kit" by Imagepac - New Stamping Making Kit by Imagepac! Make your own stamps at home with this kit in about 20 minutes! All you need is included and you can make at least 40 stamps with the started kit. Pretty cool!!!

Oh and the next thing that I thought was really way cool... was these memory boxes... I have seen something close to this called explosion box before and thought that they were cool. But I have to admit - I am not sure why you would want to make one of these or how or where you would store it once you did complete it - but it is WAY cool!!!

Then Dude.... this website cracked me up.... they have some cool paper - but more than anything I loved their titles - and of course you have to check out their "about" page where you can get schooled on "dudeology".

So there you have it.... 56 vendors visited - a bunch of cool things found - a few things that I just HAD to add to my Christmas/Birthday gift list - and a totally informative blog read for you!!!

I have to say all in all the Scrap-a-faire was pretty cool!! You can chat with designer and all the "Who's Who's" in the Scrapbooking world. You can take classes (for a small fee) and you can shop! A pretty productive evening spent if you ask me!! (The online scrapbooking/trade show will be up until Sunday - so if you have time check it out!!!)

So - Until Next Time!

Well....

My day started out really strong - and now it seems to have fizzled... I totally hate when that happens! I got up at 8 AM this morning, checked all my email accounts, wrote a cheat sheet for the Funtime Scrapbooking program and then wrote my piece for the Paperthreads Newsletter (you signed up right?!?!).

I did three loads of laundry - I even folded them! I took the dog to the groomers, went to the grocery store, called a few friends, picked up the dog from the groomers, read and posted at two of the message boards I am a member of and ate lunch... Now.... well now I am tired and I haven't even started cutting the 18 files that need to be test cut! Just another day in paradise!!! Isn't that what they say?!?!?

I guess I better get busy - hubby is due home from his out of state trip soon and I need to be caught up and ready to be the nice, loving, dotting wife that I am!!! (RIGGGGHHHTTTT - WHATEVER!!!!) Bahahahaha.....

Hmmmm - I just realized that it is only 46 days, 9 hours, and 35 minutes till Christmas! (But who's counting?!?!) I need to get busy - I have several gifts I need to make!!! I'll share them when I get done - that is aways something fun to look forwards too.

Oh and speaking of Christmas, I have to finish up my "Wish List"... I might share that with you as well!!!! Speaking of Christmas Wish Lists, what's on yours? Give me a holler and let me know - maybe I'll want to add it to my list too!!!!

Until Next Time!

Brrrrr....

It is getting cold out there!!!! I actually had to open the windows and turn on my heater for the first time today!!! You know how when you turn the heater on for the first time it has that stinky burnt dust smell!! Gross!!! They say it is suppose to get down to 36 degrees here tonight - WHAT!!! This is SOUTH GA - it isn't suppose to be cold!!!! I wanted to take my jet ski out this weekend!!!

Well the good thing about cold weather is being able to curl up in front of the fire place with some hot chocolate and read! Speaking of reading - have you signed up for the Newsletter at Paperthreads?!?! NO!!!! Well you better get to it!!! Michelle and the designer at Paperthreads have decided to bring back the Newsletter and you can guarantee it will be a good read indeed!!!! So what are you waiting for?!?!?!

As for me - it is the same ole same ole.... but I have to say I am pretty pleased with myself - since Monday I have designed 16 files!!!! Woooo Hoooo!!! Now I just have to test cut them, do direction sheets, conversions and write the ad for the store and upload them all!!! Wheew!! I am just tired thinking about all that!!! LOL See you had no idea what it took to get a file to you did ya?!?

I was suppose to go to dinner with a friend - but that seems to have fell through. Booo hooooo - so it looks like leftovers once again for me! The good thing is that it is Wed night so "ANTM" is on tonight along with Gordon Ramsey's "Kitchen Nightmares".

Now I have to tell you that program makes me think twice about going out to eat - but man - Gordon is pretty easy on the eyes!!!! (Ever notice how at least once in EVERY show they show him with his shirt off?!?!) Throw in that English accent and the fact that the man can cook - Does it even get better than that?!?!

Ok - I guess that is about all for today....So.....

Until Next Time!

Files, Files and more files.....

Hope everyone had a great weekend... I personally spent most of Friday, Saturday and Sunday drugged up... LOL - Well I DID had a good reason... on Friday afternoon I passed a kidney stone... Oh did I happen to mention I didn't even know I had a kidney stone!!! It was the strangest thing! In the past I have had terrible pain before passing a stone, but this time it was the complete opposite! I had terrible pain afterwards... but yesterday and so far today I am much better!!! And that is good because I was a busy little bee yesterday and hope to keep it up today!!!

For example... I just uploaded five new files to the store... here is a sneak peek for those who would like to see them......

I have also been working on a whole set of files... as of right now - I have five new files I need to test cut and then four more file in different stages of designing.... I have to say I am relieved as I thought I had "designers block" there for a little while.... That was a scary feeling!!! For sure!!!

I actually spent most of the day yesterday either designing or running all over the place... I have been to six different Michael's now looking for a certain item and I just can't find any more of them!!! It is SSSSOOOOOO FRUSTRATING.... and I have to tell you of the six Michael's there has only been one - yep you read right - ONE that the sales people were helpful and friendly!!!! I almost came close to telling one salesperson at another location if you hate you job this much - then QUIT!!!!

Oh well.... that is life... hope you are all well - I am off to test cut those files!!!

Until Next Time!
