Food?!?!

Let's talk one of my Favoriteeeeeee subjects.... FOOD!!!!

Seems like I have been kind of in a rut as of late for what to cook for dinner!!! I mean a year ago I didn't have these issues as well, hubby wasn't here so I didn't really ever cook!

I've been trying to come up with a few new idea's. He is a meat and veggie person, prefers not to have any starches (I KNOW - crazy!!!) and wants dinner to be as healthy as possible (I know, no fun in that either, sheesh)... thus I came up with something kind of yummy...

I pulled out my wok and make a beef stir fry!!! YUM!!!

There are some snow peas, sugar pea's, bean sprouts (oh I love love love me some bean sprouts!!! LOL), bell peppers, onions, brocoli, and some green squash. (You can click on the photo to get a bigger image, go ahead, seriously - unless you are my BFF who HATES veggies of any kind - you will see it even LOOKS yummy!!!) Bahahaha!
This was a huge huge hit last week, so much so I am making it again for dinner tonight!!! And I have to say I am kind of excited about it... now the prep time is kind long as you have to cut everything up - but the actual cooking time not so much!

Now before you think I have gone and got all healthy on you - I will admit that while I was at the grocery store I bought these for my dessert (hubby doesn't like them too much - darn!! Bahahaa)...

Yep - good ole comfort food in the sweetest sugary way you can get it!!!!

Which leads me to today's question... what are you cooking for dinner as of late? Is there something that you seem to make week after week? Leave me a comment and give me some idea's for next week's dinners!! LOL

Well, I've got to run, I have an ortho appointment today (I am hoping and praying this brace comes off!!!) I hope you all have a Marvelous weekend!

Until Next Time!

Computer Issues....

Sorry everyone!! Just about the time you get use to me blogging again -I up and miss a day!!!! I am have a really good reason though - I am having some major major computer issues!!!

You know there is nothing I hate more than computer issues!!! Really I don't think that there is... well let me take that back - there is nothing more that I hate than computer issues EXCEPT the computer issues that I cause myself!!! Yep... I am afraid my three nights of extreme pain of dealing with my computer is all due to my own fault.

Hmmm - no let me take that back.. really it isn't MY fault it is hubby's fault!!! Yeah, yeah - that's right it is HIS fault!!! (I know, I know... you are not surprised to find out that it was the man's fault - right?!?! Bahahah!!)

No in all seriousness... it is ULTIMATELY his fault... see he has had my PINK cell phone for the past few months. Well ever since he has gotten home from Afghanistan. (And yes, let me tell you he has gotten some serious teasing over that pink phone!!!) And since he has had my phone - it kind of got, well broke!!! Like where it flips open. It had gotten to the point that the only way you can use it is if it was on speaker phone.

Well on Monday he got his VERY own NEW phone!!!! (A ruggedized one that hopefully he will not be able to break!!) And I finally got my phone back!! Granted it was broken -but I could use it...

I decided since my new phone won't be here for a couple of weeks (that was the price he had to pay for breaking my phone) that I would go ahead and write down all my contacts in a notebook to make it easier to transfer them over when my new phone gets here. (It seems that since my old phone is Alltel and my new phone is Verizon they can't transfer it for me! Uh, ok...)

Well I flipped open my phone and this is what I got.....

The BLANK screen of DEATH!!!! Yep, can't look up anything, can't hear anyone, can't see what you are dialing or scrolling to, heck you can't even put it on speakerphone!!! So I have now lost EVERYTHING!!!! All my contacts, my calendar dates... everything.

So I went online and tried to figure out if there was a way I could pull my contacts from my phone - and there seemed to be a program that would allow me to do it!! So I downloaded and installed it.... and that is when all my troubles began!!!!! (And no, I didn't get my contact off of it!! Grrr!!!)

Now here I am, three days later, so many hours I can't even being to count - and I am hopefully optimistic that I might have, maybe fixed said problems.... I am not holding my breath, but we shall see....

Thus that is where things stand... I have no cell phone (the new one, thank goodness, was already on order but doesn't have a ship date until 8/20/10), my computer is being wacky, I can't get to my contacts and well... if that isn't horrible enough, my embroidery machine is acting up as well!!!!

Oh well, it is what it is... RIGHT?!?! Hope you are all fairing better than I! (Oh and if you were one of those people that I had your contact information - can you please email it all to me again?!? I would appreciate it!! Andddd.... if you are trying to reach me, call my home phone, not my cell! Bahahaha!!)

Until Next Time!

A Gear Queer Dream...

So if you know anything about me at all, you would know that I am some what of a gear queer. Yep I love love love any kind of fancy electrical gadgets. I am the one in our family who tends to be the computer guru. I am the one who begged and pleaded for the HDTV and the surround sound system and yes I am even the one who purchases all the cool gadgets that hubby ends up loving but NEVER would have gotten on his own...

Well, I have to admit I have been very envious of my BFF's iPhone for a while now. Ever time I see her, I am like one of her kids... "Can I hold your phone? Please!!" LOL But the problem with an iPhone is you have to have AT&T service - and in GA, south GA especially AT&T coverage sucks!!!

I am a long standing Verizon customer and I say that with PRIDE! They have never left me stranded and I for that I am very very very thankful... So after looking long and hard, and trying to justify the "smartphone" need... Well I am super duper excited to say that hubby got me a DRIOD X!!!! Whoooo Hooooo!!!

(Ok, ok... I'll let you in on the real reason he decided to get me this phone... for the past few months he has been carrying around my pink Razor and low and behold it is now broken!!! I mean broken - the only way you can use it is by having the stupid thing on speaker phone!!! He swears he didn't do it on purpose - even though I have to wonder if the color had something to do with it!! Bahhaa!!! Thus his guilt scored me an AWESOME new phone!!! LOL)

Now as anyone else who is a gear queer knows - these baby's are in hot demand - so it won't actually get here for a couple of weeks - but I am soooo super excited!!! No more holding and petting my friend's iPhone... No more drooling over the newest technology.

Yep in just a few short weeks I can join the awesome group of people who are overheard across the land as saying, "You know there is an app for that!". Bahahaha!

So if you happen to be a Droid owner as well - leave me a comment and tell me what's your favorite app!

Hope you all had a GREAT weekend!

Until Next Time!
