Hump Day!
Happy Hump Day! Not a lot to report here - well that isn't really true... there is a LOT going on - just not very much that I can tell you about!! Bahahaha!!! Don't you just love the holiday season! All the secrets - surprises... oh what fun!!!
Here's a question for all you readers out there..... What are you reading??? One of the things I find myself doing when hubby heads out on deployments is reading! I mean I read on an average of one to two books a week normally - but when hubby is gone that goes up to about four to five books a week.... So - do you have any suggestions for me???
I like to read pretty much anything - my two favorite authors are Jodi Picoult and Charles Martin. Oh and speaking of Charles Martin - if you have never read any of his books you SHOULD - but that wasn't where I was going.......
Do you remember a few weeks back I told you I was going on a secret mission??!?!? Well I went and MET Charles Martin!
And as a matter of fact I got him to autograph his newest book for my Mother in law for her Birthday!!!!!
Very exciting - he IS just a cute in person as he is on the back of his books! Very well spoken, entertaining and just a pleasure to meet all in all!!! As a matter of fact - even my hubby (who has never read a single one of his books) enjoyed listen to him speak and speaking to him in person after the presentation!
So if you get a chance - check out his books! And please let me know - "What are you reading that should be on my list?" (Just leave me a comment in the comment section!)
Until Next Time!

You may have already read them, but the Jan Karon set of 9 Mitford books are a true delight.
I like to read James Patterson, the Woman's Mystery series is a good one! I also finished 'Night of the Gun' I think it's by David Carr. Pretty interesting, it gives a lot of insight into drug addiction as its his story.
Have you read the (very trendy right now) "Twilight Series" by Stephenie Meyer (4 books)?
I'll second Jan Karon's Mitford Books. Love, love them.
