Making a list...

and checking it twice....

Ok today I am totally swamped! I have already cut out 100 toppers for my packaging, cut out 100 inserts, printed out 110 photos for white ribbon pins, oh and finished reading the first book in the "Twilight" saga. (And sadly I have to report of course I did THAT first!! LOL) And I went ahead and downloaded the other three to my Kindle!

So today I thought I would share with you my Christmas list! If you have been following my blog since the beginning you know that every year I make a list for my family of the top gifts that I really would like to receive! This tradition stems back from my childhood years when I use to take the Sears Toy catalog and lug it around for weeks before I highlighted each and every item that I hoped Santa would bring me!!! Bahahaha...

Last year people seemed to enjoy my shared list and it sparked them into adding some items on their own gift list.... so with out further ado - here is my 2008 Christmas/Birthday list (yeah - my birthday is only 7 days after Christmas!!!)

I'm asking for a speaker docking station for my ipod.

There isn't anything else I really want except another trip to NYC to Grease in Jan :)

Nice List Lori! Do have a question for you... Have you ever looked into the Helix Paper Craft Station? Or have you ever seen this product?http://www.helixusa.com/Products/Craft+With+Helix.html

Christmas list? What more can I ask for than what we already have... 2 wonderful grown kids & their families... especially our newest granddaughter, our Fur Kids and good health (well for the most part anyway!) :).

PLUS... after putting a deposit down on that 15" KNK Maxx, I don't dare ask for a thing! LOL Hoping you get all that you are wishing for on your list :)

How about a redo on the last presidental election?!

I really want Wii Fit--maybe a fun New Year's resolution will win out over the dust collection machine, aka the treadmill!

Lori,

There are hundreds of free public domain novels, short stories, etc. online. Most have been made available in formats for the PC, Palm, MobiPocket, etc. but I've been noticing that more and more sites are starting to include the Kindle version. So to help feed your book addiction go online and search for "free Kindle books".

By the way, I have all 4 of the Twilight series on my laptop for reading too. I have one of the new mini 9s from Dell. It's a baby laptop and I bought it specifically for reading books but now that I've had back surgery I've discovered that it's great for reading blogs, finding creative card ideas online, etc. See ya, Joyce H

Me again.... forgot to show you this paper cutter: It's by Fiskars and you can get all sorts of cool blades for it too. And they just pop in and out.... no taking apart the paper cutter just to change blades! There's a smaller, portable version, but I like this larger one: http://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-12-Desktop-Rotary-Trimmer/dp/B000OMZWAW
