Sigh.... The Games...

Ok - so I have to know... who went and saw "The Hunger Games"????  And if you went and saw the movie - did you read the book first?!?!?  What did you think? Do tell do tell!!
Yes I went - you know I would... and I have such an awesome hubby he took me to see it at the IMAX theater!!!  Oh My!!!  I LOVED IT!!!! I have to tell you - there were some things that they changed in thr movie from the book that I wish they had not but over all - it was AWESOME!!!!!  And my step-son who is here visiting for spring break (which is why I have been missing so much lately) really enjoyed it as well.  He has also read the book.... but the biggest surprise - HUBBY LOVED IT!!! Said it was probably one of the best movies he has seen in a while!!! (He did NOT read the books, but is saying that now he thinks he might want to!!!)

So overall I would say we gave it THREE Thumbs up, and as a matter of fact I loved it so much I went out and purchased BOTH CDS this morning (shhh, hubby doesn't know yet)!!!!  Yes I had to get the actual movies soundtrack and I got the Song's from District 12 album as well!

I can't wait to hear what all of you think.... I know that several people purchased my Hunger Games Mini Collection and made some awesome projects for the opening with the designs.....

As a matter of fact - Maria shared this photos with me... she held a "Hunger Games" themed party complete with treat bags....

And t-shirts!!!! (What was kind of cool about her t-shirts is she did print and cuts!!! Instead of cutting each layer of the design from vinyl - and they turned out AWESOME!!!)

Don't you agree???

Can't wait to hear what you thought about "The Hunger Games" the movie.... and I would love to see any scrappy/crafty projects you made from my mini collection!!!

I have to tell you this is one DVD that will be added to my collection and I have to say as excited and happy as I was/am to see the movie - I am equally as bummed to have to wait until Nov 2013 to see the next one!!!!

Until Next Time!!

The whole fMily saw it and loved it! We all have read the first two books. The girls and I have also read the third. Hubby is almost done with the third. I was disappoointed in how they handled the mockingjay pin. Otherwise, it was great!
