WinPC/Funtime Scrapbooking

So there have been a ton of questions lately about the Funtime Scrapbooking Software thus I decided to write a tutorial for those who have the software or are thinking about getting the software.

As most of you know, I have WinPC for Scrapbooker as well, and that is actually the software I use and prefer to use to design my files that I sell at the Paperthreads store.

This is the "First" tutorial I have ever written so I would love to hear your feed back on it.

I am planning to do some more in the future so if there is something you would like a tutorial on using WinPC or Funtime, please shoot me an email or a private message. Tutorial 101 covers welding words and making mats.

Thanks in advance for your input and any feed back!

Until Next Time!

For the FIRST TIME EVER!!!!

Yep - for the first time ever in our marriage I got up this morning, cooked hubby breakfast and sent him off to his first day of work and I stayed home to be the domestic goddess I have become!!! LOL I know that sounds really weird , but truly this is the first time in our marriage that I have actually sent hubby off to work while I stayed home to do the "house wife" thing.

See after we got married, hubby had a sales rep job and he worked from our home. Thus I would get up in the morning and head off to work, while he stayed to work in his "home office". Then he would head out on calls. But he would always make it home before I did at night. So I would come home and he would already be there.....

I have been teasing him that I am sooo excited to have him walk through the door tonight and say, "Honey I am home!" Bahahahahaha!!!!

So since breakfast I have changed the sheets on the bed, washed three loads of laundry, paid bills for the first half of the month, put up dishes, washes dishes, cleaned the bathrooms, straightened up in general, took out one of my frozen meals I did to thaw for dinner and vacuumed!!!! And here it is only noon!!!!

Last night was a BLAST!!! We had sooo much fun!!! Hubby said his goal was to just scare one trick or treater - and if that happened it would have been a successful night! Well let me tell you, he scared more than one!!! And he scared some parents as well!!! LOL

Towards the end of the night we had people coming from all over the neighborhood saying that they had heard all about our house and they had to come check it out!!! I don't know what was funnier, the people that hubby snuck up on and scared or the ones that asked to have their photo taken with him!!!! LOL He was a star!!! One little kid actually yelled "You want a piece of me?????" It was toooo funny!!!!

Our neighbor next door (whose house we were at) also dressed up and he was in the "house" where you had to go to get the candy - he actually made kids cry! By doing NOTHING but stand there!!! LOL All in all it was a great time, hanging out with our neighbors on our street is always a blast! We are soooo blessed with great neighbors!!!!

Anyway - I thought I would share a few photos from the "Haunted Halloween" party!!!

So here is a photo of me in front of the candy dish:

Here is a photo of Hubby and our Neighbor in front of the "abandoned house" stage:

Here is a photo of Hubby Stalking the kids and the parents!

And here is a photo of the "crew":

Now check this creepy photo out.... the strobe light in the "house" was causing my camera to do strange things, so I turned off the flash which of course left the shutter open longer than it would normally been open due to it was dark, and the results were this creepy photo!! You can see the neighbor in the center in his "death" costume.... Pretty freaky!!!!!

I hope you all had a great Halloween no matter how you celebrated it!
Until Next Time!

Random thoughts...

It is so hard to get focused now days... does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?? Can you believe it has been a month since hubby arrived home from the sandbox? WOW this time has really flown by!!!!

Today is his last day of freedom and then it is back to the grind for both him and I!!! LOL Yep he starts his new job tomorrow and I guess that means I have to GET BACK to work!! I am sooo far behind I am not sure if I can see daylight from under the pile I am under!!! I started making a list of the thing I need to do and it is soooo long - I just quit making it! LOL

So today is just a few random thoughts for you.... I guess I should start off by saying "Happy Halloween!!" Now I am not a big Halloween person at all, not sure why but I just am not... but we have decided to pair up with out neighbors and do a major Halloween scare project at their house. So that is four families all decorating and such at one house..... Hubby is major major major stoked at scaring little kids and their parents!!! Ha!!!! (Hmmmm I wonder if I should be worried about this!!! LOL) So last night they spent hours last night decorating and practicing and getting read for tonight. Now me - I am making the chili and the dessert for everyone to eat dinner before hand and my only job tonight is to dress in black and run the fog machine..... I think I have determined the only thing different between men and boys is their toys!!! LOL

It is kind of funny to me though... this whole Halloween fascination thing that my hubby has. I mean he is totally in to it!!! (I will have to try and take photos and share them with you all tomorrow!!) We are very strong and committed Christians and having said that - I think that is why I kind of don't like Halloween. But for my husband, this was the first "American Holiday" he ever experienced in this country. He was telling me yesterday that he was 15 or 16 when they got here and they had only been here for about two months and they had just moved to the mine where his dad had gotten a job - and everyone was like - oh you moved here just in time for Halloween! Hubby and his sister were like "What is Halloween?" And everyone told them all you need to know is how to say "Trick or Treat!" LOL So hubby said about after the third house and half of bag of candy latter - he was LOVING AMERICA and their weird holidays!!! Bahahahaha!!!

Another Random thought... My sister in law emailed me yesterday - my bother in law had made it home from the sandbox!!!!! FINALLY!!! After 15 months!!! So that was another huge prayer answered!!! She sent several pictures and I just loved this one so I thought I would share!!!!

And finally - my friend Susan Bowers is making these AWESOME journals that she is also selling. Here is a sample of one of them!

I thought this would make an awesome gift for a prayer partner, a daughter or a sister, or even a coworker!!! If you are interested please contact her! I believe she is charging $4 each plus the price of shipping (can you say cheap but AWESOME gift)!!! She has been such a huge blessing in my life and I am just sooo thrilled that she has decided to use her creative talents in a way to help support her family financially!!

So I guess that is it for today - I need to get up and get that Chili going for tonight! I hope everyone had a very safe and fun Halloween no matter how you plan to spend it!!!

Until Next Time!
