Vinyl....

So you know the other day I was telling you that I decided to decorate my husband jeep for when I go to pick him up from his deployment... That in the past I had used that Window chalk and that it turned out HORRIBLE....

Well every since my friend Jen convinced me that vinyl isn't the enemy but can actually be a lot of fun... I decided to cut vinyl to decorate the windows.

Since I still don't know when hubby is going to be home - I decided to go ahead an apply my vinyl now while it was sunny and warm and this way if I get a last minute phone call I won't be stressed out that the Jeep wasn't decorated or that I didn't have enough time to get it done.

Therefore I headed out the other day with my papered chief scrapper, my brayer and my vinyl.... and......

Here is the end results!!!!

I am soooo ecstatic!!! Can I tell you I love love love vinyl!!! It really turned out awesome in my opinion!!! I did learn a few lessons along the way - but I am happy to report I only had to re-cut one of the windows!!! (Pretty impressive if I do say so myself!!!)

So if you haven't tried cutting vinyl yet- what are you waiting for??? The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!

Until Next Time!

A small prayer...

Dear God,

I know I've asked for a lot this deployment. And if the truth be told, I'll probably be asking even more from you in the next few coming weeks. But Lord, if you see fit, could you please do me a "little favor"? Do you mind having a chat with "Mother Nature" and asking her to please ease up on the weather overseas? I'd appreciate nice/sunny skies where planes would be allowed to fly.

Oh and Lord, if it isn't too much to ask - please protect our soldiers as they TRY to make their way home. And can you give their families peace of mind and flexibility for the upcoming weeks ahead. Help remind us that in the BIG scheme of things most of what we are dealing with is "little" stuff.

Please be with the families of our fallen soldiers. I think the next few months are going to be really hard for them as they watch the GA Soldiers come to their physical homes - yet they have to face the fact that their soldier has gone to his "real" home with you.

Thanks God! I am so thankful that I have you to turn to during the frustration and difficult times.

Until Next Time!

Cya~

Hit and Miss...

This week is really crazy for me and I am going to be hit and miss.... so let me apologize up front for it now!!!

Man - I had planned to blog before now (it is 8 PM) but it has been a crazy day - between PT (which was rough!!!), then spending some time with a friend, fighting with my computer and now trying to play catch up and get yellow ribbon pin orders out the door.... wheew!!!

But I wanted to ask you - have you got your Feb grab bag yet??? I reviled the files a few days ago -and now I want to share with you two awesome layouts that were made using one of my files from the grab bag.

Here is the file -

And here is the two layouts that my design team member Bec created using the file!

How freaking awesome are they???? (You can click on the photo to get a bigger photo!!) Who said Clovers where just for St Patty's day?!?!?

If you haven't gotten your grab bag - you better hurry - you only have a few days left to purchase it!!!

And if you have gotten your grab bag already - if you have designed something using one of my designs I would love to see it!

Ok - got to run... it is time for my date with Jake (The Bachelor)..

Until Next Time!
